| Aug 29 02:24:00 | Archaic Light | Very grindy ;) But at least I got a better pay-off in the end than in many NES games, so it was totally worth my time. Well done for one day. I just don't know what the jumping-ability was for.

Here's an idea for having a fail-state in the mechanics: If the player doesn't harvest a certain patch of wheat, it becomes dry and fades, effectively blocking new wheat to grow. If all patches are blocked that way, the game is over. | |
| Aug 29 12:17:00 | 9h 53m | Hollywood is Loomynarty | Interesting intro, unfortunately not skippable, but the graphics are very nice. Sadly, I had wished that the actual gameplay had better controls, as the pivot point of the pyramid felt a bit odd, its turning speed is too low and too floaty, so it's hard not to overshoot the direction you want to shoot in. The aliens require a bit too many hits and the shit in general is too big for the screen. Nevertheless a solid entry :) |
| Aug 29 12:25:00 | 8m 00s | Carto | An interesting take on the theme, I enjoyed it very much. Also I wonder, how the scoring algorithm works, because it kinda liked my jaggy version of Australia ;) Good work! |
| Aug 29 13:26:00 | 1h 01m | Theoton | Once I adjusted to the controls and was able to nail jumps it was really a fun experience and a lot better than much of the "puzzle-platform" cash-grabs on GameBoy. Also, very good level design where I had some Eureka-moments. Overall a great entry. Excellent! |
