Apr 18 02:20:00 Transformagician I LOVE the music. Sets a great moo along with the blue hues of the game. It took me a while to figure out what I was transforming into, but it made more sense once I saw the robots (the bolt). I love the robots art BTW.

I would have liked the selector UI to have stayed on the screen so it was always ready to go.

Fun!
Apr 18 02:24:00 4m 00s Reptile Politik Congrats on finishing your first ludum dare! I loved the concept, very funny. Really difficult to hit the keys in time! I thought I was a fast typer. :-)
Apr 18 02:38:00 14m 00s L.I.G.H.T. Great 8 bit music. I also like the terraria like feel.

It's a lot of instructions to absorb all at once. There's a lot of controls and forms etc that all come at you right away. Ideally, if you had had more time, I would have loved to see thing introduced gradually. But I know it's just 48 hours. :-)

I had trouble figuring out what "light" looked like, since there was "light" everywhere: in the campfire, the torches, those flaming fireball things. An image would have been helpful, or maybe call it "Glowing White Orb" or something so it's less confusing.

I also saw a bug on the 2nd floor of the building over to the right, a human was walking through the wall and out to the outside. Looked like he was just on a path that didn't pay attention to collision/gravity.

Great menu screen, always a nice touch!

Nice work!
Apr 18 02:41:00 3m 00s Slime Crusher I can't seem to get it to play in the browser. :-( Running on Windows/Firefox
Apr 18 03:01:00 20m 00s ShmupShifter Ok, this was pretty fun. I got frustrated that I couldn't beat the boss.

I liked the tip: "Try approaching from a different direction", but I was disappointed that the boss shot at me no matter where I was. It seems like the concept of "you can shoot in different directions" was leaned into a bit more. It seems like there's a bit of that, but it really still heavily favors shooting upwards. The tall vertical screen also reinforces that, and there weren't many enemies (that I got to) that really forced you to go into the other 2 forms. It seemed like those were just novelties, except when bad guys were down at the very bottom.

Nice job!

Nice big bright pixels!
Apr 18 03:07:00 6m 00s Slithering Very funny and sad when this cute little anime girl's body just falls to the ground, and then continues to be attacked by the snakes. Made me laugh. :-)

Great atmosphere, artwork and happy music go well together. Would have loved to keep transforming. Maybe you run into humans who want to "heal you" and so you need to avoid them to keep it up.

Great job on your first LD!
Apr 18 03:09:00 2m 00s 2 levels only "This is my first Ludum Dare game and my first game development ever. I am sorry I couldn't offer you more but this was my limit." Haha! This made me laugh. Great try though, and congrats on finishing your first LD! I'm sure now you have lots of lessons on what to focus on next time
Apr 18 04:19:00 1h 10m Under and Above Took me a while to figure out that the number meant bullets + health

Would have loved to see some more gameplay around the different forms

Nice job!
Apr 18 04:25:00 6m 00s Flipsy Shapes This was surprisingly fun! The little subtitles for each level add a nice touch. I loved figuring out what they "meant".

I wish that the levels were exactly the same, meaning they would come from the same direction. It seemed like the order was the same but not direction. That would help get into that "zen" type memorization experience.

Nice work!
Apr 18 04:31:00 6m 00s Go Away, Zeus! I love the "pschhhhhh" for the buttons. The art and the sound effects are very unique. Took me a little while to figure out what's going on, I think you have to listen for who is NOT making a noise?
Apr 18 04:41:00 10m 00s Tito's Revenge Wow, lots of good things to say about this one. The music is fantastic, really sets a fun mood. The vacuuming is a lot of fun, surprisingly more so than just collecting by walking on top of them. Good sound effects and visual effects, and the bathroom idea was funny.

It's easy to see how you could expand this- let you upgrade your vacuum, gun, have more monsters, etc.

Awesome job! 5 stars from me!
Apr 18 04:46:00 5m 00s Posthistoric Ooze I was a little confused by the "totems". Seemed more like "trampolines" or "springs".

The big eyes on the little guys were funny. :-)
Apr 18 04:49:00 3m 00s Pizza Thief Whoa, the catch and game over SFX scared me!
Apr 18 16:14:00 11h 25m H2Olympics Loved the music and little faces on the molecules. Nice work!
Apr 18 16:22:00 8m 00s Trinity - Descent to Ascend Nice BG music. Like the other commenters, I wish there was some more progression.
Apr 18 17:20:00 58m 00s Lycan Trail Had a lot of fun with this. I wish that the first level had been a bit shorter so I could have gotten the excitement of the upgrade stage earlier - I had died a few times and almost gave up.
Apr 18 17:59:00 39m 00s Mephisto Rising This was fun, hard to change shapes while you run around, but it is very satisfying to drop a whole bunch of pieces.
Apr 18 21:42:00 3h 43m Shapescape Took me a good 90 seconds to understand how to play. Not sure how this would work on mobile.
Apr 18 21:47:00 5m 00s CastleMania Pretty fun! Nice little gameboy soundtrack and SFX. I hate those blue blobs!

Easy to see how you could turn in other monsters in an expansion. I was hoping I'd turn into a skeleton if I killed skeletons.
Apr 19 00:28:00 2h 41m SuperFishAl Whoa. This game is crazy. I couldn't really figure out what to do. The epic intro music was cool, but then it didn't really seem to have anything to do with the game.

Funny though! I like getting sucked into the whirlpools.
Apr 19 00:45:00 17m 00s Down The Well Wow! Best LD35 game I've played yet! I love how it gets darker the deeper you go, very subtle. Along with the escalating music, it makes it very intense. Very creative use of the theme too. Great work!
Apr 19 03:44:00 2h 59m A Dim Light To A Cursed Night Good atmosphere. Pretty hard to win...if you can win?
Apr 19 03:49:00 5m 00s Tangram Cookie Factory I love the cardboard art, very cute. Gameplay wise, it was pretty hard and stressful! But that might just be me, I'm not a big fan of the diner dash type games. I was also confused about what was accepted, it seemed like I could somewhat just throw shapes on the plate and serve it just fine.
Apr 19 03:50:00 1m 00s Find the Bird Why only Linux? Could you put up Windows or Mac?
Apr 19 04:01:00 11m 00s ANTI-VIRUS Man, this is a pretty interesting idea. That said, I had a rough time. It was hard to figure out that zooming in + centering on enemies was what killed the enemies. It also took me forever to get out of the store menu, maybe that's why some people say they can't get past the main menu.

Very clever, it's so close!
Apr 19 04:12:00 11m 00s Sesquipedalian: Anomaly Reborn Wasn't able to play the Ludum Dare version of the web version.

I played the Windows version, it looks like an interesting idea, but unfortunately not enough time to implement. I think it's way too ambitious for 48 hours. It seemed like it ran at 1 FPS, lots of unfinished art, etc.
Apr 19 04:14:00 2m 00s Hotline Trump Tower Would love to play this, but the windows Bitly link gave me a bitly virus warning error...?
Apr 19 04:22:00 8m 00s Cadori Really good background art! However I really had trouble with the game. Tried attacking each other but it didn't seem to be making much damage. Then, I made a hole in the ceiling (cool effect) and then flew up, and then started dying? Wasn't quite sure what was going on there. I feel like I was missing something off screen.
Apr 19 04:43:00 21m 00s SUBJECT 26 Very good, very moody. I'd like to solve the mysetery of this asylum and AMAZIN, but I got stuck after solving the pink butterfly, couldn't figure out where to go. :-(

But I definitely played this longer than any other LD game!
Apr 19 18:46:00 14h 03m Shape Shifter It was pretty frustrating that hitting the walls negated 10+ correct choices and send me back to 10 sped. :-( The racing was fun though!
Apr 19 19:03:00 17m 00s Fluffy the Porcupine Saves the World Ok, this was way more fun than I thought it would be. I finally beat the game. The story was so odd, yet the challenge was achievable, I had to see it through. The collision/controls have a real old NES feel to it (good and bad :-)

Great job!
Apr 20 03:21:00 8h 18m Robot Escape I loved the music. The turning left and right at the beginning was brutal, it felt really complicated. Gotta be a better control scheme. Got better once I got the omni view though.
Apr 20 05:34:00 2h 13m Parts Needed I wasn't able to play on PC, Windows 7. :-( "Unhandled exception. Spring has crashed. Access violation."
Apr 30 18:36:00 253h 02m Cloud Sculptor Nice music! Piano and clouds always go together. :-)
Apr 30 18:40:00 4m 00s Aftertile I like the music a lot, it reminds me of Wizorb.
