| Dec 15 20:44:00 | Great Nation | [ETC from Creative Sectors]:
I like this way of approach to the theme, it's like a voting machine with real world problems. I found it very entertaining for a while, then a lot of negative events appeared before I could fill the last line, Love into positive or greenish state. One important thing I learned with this game is that you never let Power affected and keep it at least one green, to go on continously.
I really like the 8-bit atmosphere you made for this game it really goes well with the music and I love that you used JavaScript technology to create it. | |
| Dec 15 21:03:00 | 19m 00s | Dragonic | The visual is stunning for a game for such a short time-frame and I love this atmosphere. What I found disturbing is that the random generator presses you to evolve further when you are an egg by smashing into a bat, but not counting this, it was a really relaxing dragon game. |
| Dec 26 11:07:00 | 254h 04m | Wildly Growing | [Lazarus-omin from Creative Sectors]:
Wow, I really dig what you did here.

Loved the overall frame: the graphic elements were coherent, pleasant, the music & sound effects were perfect add-ons to the mood, and as a fan of E.V.O. - Search for Eden, I pretty much liked the mechanics too.

Start was a lil' cumbersome, but got the hang of it soon. Only one small detail looked a little extreme for me, and that was the momentum of dying, with all that explosive blood. :)

Nevertheless, really enjoyed this one! Nice work, keep it up!

P.s.: The Airplane mode cracked me up! :D |
| Dec 28 12:04:00 | 48h 57m | Slum Runner | [Lazarus-omin from Creative Sectors]:
Absolutely loved this one! I wish it was longer.

Graphics were clean, simple, nothing too complicated, but the elements pretty much suited the mood. The music and sound effect were fitting, no complaints here. Controls take some time to master, but that's the challenge, ain't it? I pretty much liked the dialogue parts, they added a cool humor factor, and were well written, the characters were likeable.

Congrats' on the game, it's a very memorable one!

P.s.: Any plans on expanding it? |
| Jan 3 11:39:00 | 143h 35m | Grow a Game | [Lazarus-omin from Creative Sectors]:
Cool lil' project, which accurately describes some of the elements of the LD game making process. :)

I had no problems with graphics, and I liked the mini-games too. Best aspect was the humor though, at least for me.

Congrats' on the game, keep it up! |
| Jan 3 20:31:00 | 8h 52m | Chompatron Saves The World | [Lazarus-omin from Creative Sectors]:
Whoa, what a mindless gore-fest! That's just the way I like it! :D

Enjoyed your work, the humor is gorgeous, that concept is crazy, and the voice-over just enhances the mood. Good job, I'm still smiling!

However, things were happening so fast, that in the beginning I just kinda' mashed the buttons, without a strategy. It took some time to learn how this stuff works. Bodyslam is a real saviour. After a while, the game becomes repetitive, but with a beat 'em up style level design, this could become something special I think.

Any plans on polishing it up a notch?

Anyways, congrats' on the game, keep up the good work! |
| Jan 3 21:22:00 | 51m 00s | Temple of the Anonymous Evil Elder God | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It was quite long to finish this gem, more than one and a half hour is longer than the average entries here. Where I was lack of interest is the testing behaviour, that I usually play with Ludum Dare games to see all the possibilities. There was a couple of items and maps with enemies, but I end up consuming a lot of time with battles and healing. It was an interesting twist with the two living buttons concept and I like the conversations except the unmoral priestess. |
| Jan 3 21:31:00 | 9m 00s | Star Warrior | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It was a really stunning experience. I really liked the vectorized, neonesque graphic style. I usually fond with this art style and I really like your implmenetation of the two-button control. It takes a couple of minutes to get the rythm of this game to kill the huge square worm of the surface. |
| Jan 3 22:09:00 | 38m 00s | Cultivate | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It was a little quick, but after multiple tries I got a lot of content. I really like this interactive fantasy setting you have. I really enjoyed your minigames too. |
| Jan 4 10:54:00 | 12h 45m | Griffin Card | I really love the pixelated art and your concept twist is neat. It took me four or five run to get the core of the game. I really miss a good soundtrack from the background, it goes well with keygen and chiptune music. It has a great potential with more creatures to fight, for example against different "trees". |
| Jan 4 11:05:00 | 11m 00s | Tile Risers | It was fun to got through the first couple of levels and after that it was a huge fun to push tiles like Sokoban-like games to get to the next level. Sometimes other individual stacks emerged, it was a short but interesting meeting. |
| Jan 4 11:21:00 | 16m 00s | There's No Going Back | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
I like how the graphics and music creates the atmosphere. The control was smooth and the levels are designed really well. It has great potential, and it can double the levels easily. |
| Jan 4 15:53:00 | 4h 32m | AVOID RINGS | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It's one of the RYTHMic avoiDANCE games with I sometimes feel frustration: When I reach a pretty decent distance, I start to feel comfortable and then just BANG! back to square one. The music is quite catchy and I waited it will follow the game flow and speed up to give you an audio clue like Aztec Challenge (if it doesn't have any counter). I really liked the ending music and agree on that music is not fit into your gamestyle. |
| Jan 4 16:08:00 | 15m 00s | Crabby Puzzles | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
I love these little platformer games, where you should use your brain and precision to handle the levels, it is a really nice interpretation of the two button controls. The music and your art style fits really well together. The puzzles were nice and sometimes hold some suprises. |
| Jan 4 20:46:00 | 4h 38m | 2 button metroidvania | [Lazarus-omin from Creative Sectors]:
Jesus Christ, this is awesome! And it only took you about 8 hours to make?! That's just some mad science!

Controls are very slick, the worked exceptionally well with the given theme. The graphics and music just set the mood right, so if you plan to polish this further, a perfect base is given.

Finished the normal way, and found the secret ending too.

I'm speechless mate, nice job! Hope to see more of your magic!

P.s.: I haven't experienced lag, or any other anomalies. |
| Jan 4 21:51:00 | 1h 05m | Reap | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It has such a unique visual, I ended up experimenting and it really got me and I didn't realize I spend more than an hour with this game. It has so much potential. It's got me with the similarities to Minicraft and Miniventure but it has more stunning visual not counting the timeframe to create this great piece of art. The atmosphere is really fitting into my memory. You got a great balance into random stuff generation and human interaction. |
| Jan 4 22:23:00 | 32m 00s | Lost Contact | As a tower defense game sometimes I feel the need to conquer a lot of space before ending a level and it was good. It reminds me of UFO: Enemy Unknown and Space Hack at the same time in a positive way. The music is goes along with a great atmosphere. Sometimes I experienced slowdowns or unresponsive turrets even if nothing changed. It was unpredictable to lose turrets because of inactivity, but brings some balance if you are way too powerful. |
| Jan 4 22:28:00 | 5m 00s | Midnight Runner | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
I was confused in the beginning without a tutorial I had to bash into everything I find to get the hang of the game. After that it was a pretty decent game, the art style is reminds me to my favourite era and the atmosphere feel good. It was hard to get too far because some unpredictable pattern that just kills me harshly. |
| Jan 4 22:36:00 | 8m 00s | Adventures of Quorn | [Lazarus-omin from Creative Sectors]:
Cute & appealing graphics, but not really much else.

After a few deaths, and game restarts, I've managed to kill the two enemies, collect some stuff, but that's it. There's no real content here. As a base, it's okay, but you need a story, some levels, a solid gameplay.

Apart from this, congrats' on submitting, keep it up! |
| Jan 4 22:47:00 | 11m 00s | Tamagotchi Hell | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It has an interest twist on the themes and overall have a nice feeling in itself. Sometimes I found myself stucked by timing kills. The atmosphere is unique and it has potential. When I saw Tamagotchi I started to remember those pixelated versions. It can be more evil, like a Happy Tree Friends-like game. The visuals and music is blending together really well. |
| Jan 4 22:53:00 | 6m 00s | ZZXXX the Gremlin | [Lazarus-omin from Creative Sectors]:
Sorry, but I can't run it either. :/ "Program too big to fit in memory" |
| Jan 4 23:02:00 | 9m 00s | Build Town | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
For me it's looked an Age of Empire-like strategy game with survival elements without war. I loved the concept but some bug always caused me trouble to navigate and stay alive with the habitants. The user interface is simple and the graphic elements are not informative enough. I feel the music is really close to Banished. |
| Jan 4 23:20:00 | 18m 00s | Snow World | I love the Fire Emblem-like graphic and the two button control concept is really great. I love how you implemented a real time battle with a neat attack/defense style. Somehow I missed healing items, so I had to master the defense to keep alive for the stronger enemies. Really like the pixelated art style and the items are really reflected on the heroes. |
| Jan 4 23:33:00 | 13m 00s | Evadanoid | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It was a fun, little agar.io-like game with this nice restriction with the two buttons and the arkanoid style ratchets were great help to easily go over 10 thousand points. After a while there was a lot of problem with the wide red lines that was nearly unavoidable. Also I experienced lagginess while controlled the "hero". |
| Jan 4 23:55:00 | 22m 00s | Frogtale | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It is a really good little RPG with a great soundtrack in the background. Sometimes I forgot to left pushing of the Z key and I was always in motion to avoid any enemy contact. The soundtracks are really nice rythms that fits the game really well. It contains some healthy humor and a story that's good to see and play. |
| Jan 5 00:19:00 | 24m 00s | The Implausible Zone | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It's good to see a fellow RPG Maker fanatic in this competition. I got a little collision error where the machinery and the restaurant meets. Anyway, it was a funny story with a couple of puns. And your take on the growing theme is somehow interesting and the fitting music is great. |
| Jan 5 00:29:00 | 10m 00s | Radivader | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
My opinion is that the music is not really fits the game, but the other aspects are fit together. It was nice to see two themes at the same time. The vehicle was a little bit slow and sometimes unresponsive, so I usually end up in a circle of enemies. It has the potential, and I miss the warping shots, that could help me to clear the areas faster. |
| Jan 5 00:40:00 | 11m 00s | Snowman Builder Extreme | An interesting twist with the growing and it really fits the title. It was great to see there is phisics in this game, even if it is a little off. For the first time I missed to collect some better items for my snowman. On my second run I got 18 items and it was enough for a "Packrat" title. The music is funny and goes to the theme. |
| Jan 5 00:58:00 | 18m 00s | Chaotic Potato | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It was a funny experiment and the tutorial was a nice touch in the beginning to explain the basics. I missed a good soundtrack that fits this game, but the sound effects were good. |
| Jan 5 01:07:00 | 9m 00s | Plant Lab | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It took a couple of run to fully understands what's happening on the plant screen after my changes in the lab. I really like farming and tycoon games and it was a great game to chill between two action-packed games. I like your unique approach of the Growing theme. |
| Jan 5 01:33:00 | 26m 00s | The Climbers | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
It is a really great concept and sometimes I ran into rope-snatching situations sometimes it just takes time to climb back. I got 58 for the first try and 116 on the second run, while I falling a lot. A love the jokes that arrives with a warning sign. |
| Jan 5 01:51:00 | 18m 00s | Adrift: A Space Age Roguelite | [ETC from Creative Sectors]
The controls were somewhat hard to use and not hard to run out of fuel. I like roguelikes and old ASCII and ANSI art games. I think the concept is good, but miss some good tunes that goes well with the game. I think planetary mining is an unpredictable source of goods. I was unable to past level 13, but I should practice more. |
