Dec 15 03:14:00 Feed The Baby Bigger baby here :P
I think it's a really simple but clean entry. I guess you chose the safe way. I would recommend you to get out of your comfort zone a little bit. Cute visuals and music btw :)
Dec 15 09:24:00 6h 10m Longbeard I think it's obvious to say graphics are awesome. We know your games now, it's kind of expected. To be honest Fathom was much more than this even though it was also short. I think fun is missing a little bit. Still kind of an original idea with the mechanic. Pity you struggled with code and time. Expecting better next time! :)
Dec 15 09:34:00 10m 00s Another Dragon My favorite part is the retro visual style. Other than that difficulty of challenge is right. I think it could be longer though but I realize you had to polish it to look nice like this. Clean entry, I like it!
Dec 15 09:44:00 10m 00s Unbarren It is confusing at the start even though I've red everything you wrote. I like the idea of controlling a craft from inside but the game is quite boring in the end to be honest. The best thing is visuals. I like how every tree has a unique structure. Keep up the good work :)
Dec 15 09:54:00 10m 00s Balloon Cat I'm not a fan of voxel-like graphics and it was too hard for me (got a bottle of milk though!) however I like the idea for the controls. It feels like this old game where you were trying to land on a pod with spacecraft. You may consider using a color palette next time, it would look much better.
Dec 15 10:06:00 12m 00s U.G.O My best is 437 for the second time I played. Didn't play again though, sorry. I really liked how the game offers an infinite gameplay with scoring but it still has an advancement mechanic. I'm not sure if it was infinite but why not. Visually and aurally it was satisfying. Keep up the good work.
Dec 15 10:20:00 14m 00s The Child Spirit Placement of animals breaks the run but the game works overall. I think I cannot get back to the second animal if I miss it. It lacked a little bit of feeling of grip to be honest, felt like hovering more than running. It is probably because of animation. I think it would be also more interesting if there were more interactions other than running around but I know, no time. Don't forget to save the forest!
Dec 15 10:36:00 16m 00s Flowershop Tale It's quite repetitive. I guess you decided to have the images low quality this way, well it works. The core game is there. I also like the concept. I wish you could add more to that core.
Dec 15 10:45:00 9m 00s Neon City Getaway Good take on theme. I got 2245 on fourth try. It's very confusing at first with controls but then you get used to. I liked the game very much but only one thing, it would be much better if it was more random than this. Then you could just pack it up and publish on mobile. I would go for it. Good job!
Dec 15 10:54:00 9m 00s Growing Sakura I'm not a fan of puzzle games so I quit it on 5th level but I won't criticize it with my personal choices because the game looks beautiful. I like the fact that I could undo anytime and how the flowers blossomed when I win. Puzzle mechanics are in place I guess. You nailed it I'd say. Why not a mobile game from this?
Dec 15 11:14:00 20m 00s Puff Enuff? This is the best game I've played till now. This is type of game I was waking up early before school to play for five minutes on my commodore 64. I loved it. I also liked how there is no infinite gameplay, I hate that. Controls are not so hard and not so easy at the same time. I think you should vary levels and bosses and definitely go for post-jam. Keep up the good work.
Dec 15 11:21:00 7m 00s Mine Rail Shooter If it's really first time in Unity, you did great job. I hope you go further next time. I found the mine a little bit empty. It looks like an Oculus Rift demo kind of thing. After a while I started spamming both buttons :D Keep developing!
Dec 15 11:30:00 9m 00s Slippy Santa This is so christmasy :P I'm sorry, graphics are not the best but I liked the cylinder space, it fits well with tumbling down the mountain. I think you should go more innovative and up your graphics next time, keep up the good work :)
Dec 15 11:56:00 26m 00s Agent Hooker I got stuck on the level with 4 horizontal lasers and a little space that you cannot fit. Am I missing something?
I think it's a very good entry. You have everything in place and working. Good job.
Dec 15 12:15:00 19m 00s Left-leaning Another last-level loser here.
I think it's really fun and simple. Maybe you could get rid of horn mechanic and add a left turn instead. But I know, no time. Great job. Only thing changed could be colors and graphical style but not necessary.
Dec 15 12:24:00 9m 00s SpaceHex I didn't have much time to get deep into this but I assume there is a way around to beat it. I liked animated pixel art and resource management mechanics. It just starts too hard in my opinion, could make a curve instead. We have a similar mechanic in our game, you may want to check it out.
Dec 15 12:33:00 9m 00s Zircon I feel like you were visually inspired by Fez. I think the game is fine but there are problems. The first one is the repetitive sound of spring. Second one is that I could not adjust to left-right controls when character keeps rotating and it became really frustrating. I have headache now actually :( Anyways, clean entry. Keep up the good work!
Dec 15 12:44:00 11m 00s Klangwelt Wow, that was surprising. I think the idea is really interesting but it lacks fun factor. Could be better for example if the tiles were placed by a character controlled by player. I like the samples you used and online mode. It has potential imho.
Dec 15 12:51:00 7m 00s Boxing Quest I didn't have a friend with me to play this with but you did good job with only 2 buttons I'd say. I think it would be a little better if you could move character a little back when he is hit to avoid spamming. I also like the style of graphics, they need a little work but generally okay. Keep up the good work!
Dec 15 13:04:00 13m 00s Ourobos Good game. It brings back memories. I don't know how to criticize really, I think it worked very well for a retro platformer.
Dec 15 13:21:00 17m 00s Slum Runner I liked how you took time to create many levels. I think this could be improved graphically because mechanics work. Maybe sounds and music also requires rework. Other than these, fun game, good work :)
Dec 15 17:44:00 4h 23m UPSQUID I went up to 852 then it got boring, sorry :) As others said it could be a mobile game easily and I think it could become popular. You should consider that. I'm not a fan of infinite gameplay like this but it works. Graphics are perfect in their own way. Good job.
Dec 15 18:03:00 19m 00s Personal Valley Very good graphics. I think gameplay is a little repetitive. Controls get a little boring after a while. I wished I had a normal controls over this character. But I know it was for 2-buttons. Good job.
Dec 15 18:29:00 26m 00s 33 grams I liked the animations and flowing movement of moths. Also visuals style and randomized levels(I guess they are). However the game is so short and mechanic is simple and repetitive. I wish there was more to it but I guess it's quite good for 48 hours.
Dec 15 20:29:00 2h 00m Lands of TSR Lore It looks great but there is a lot missing like inventory, leveling up and other various stuff. I still think you did great job though. I'd continue if I were you but try to come up with an original story or mechanic that will make your game unique, not like all others.
Dec 15 21:38:00 1h 09m Midnight Runner I like the music the best I think, it fits the mood of the game very well. Graphics are good but could be better. Very repetitive even for a runner game. I also like the dash mechanic.
Dec 15 23:59:00 2h 21m BoltStorm I think graphics look really pretty but you should differentiate entities and environment. I couldn't see enemies and my own guys most of the time. A secondary directional light only on entities or color adjustments could help. Walking sound is not the best. Other than these, it's quite good work. Of course it would be better with more content but maybe not in 72 hours. Keep up the good work!
Dec 16 00:08:00 9m 00s Cockatiel Egg Sound effect for tiles are really nice. Gather eggs and reach exit is a working mechanic but I guess it's not enough by itself to be fun. There has to be other twists, I think you know it yourself too. Still great work, love the graphics and sounds. But minions were better :P
Dec 16 11:50:00 11h 42m And the world kept on turning I liked the gameplay quite a bit. Initial levels were awesome, however with the drop of speed the game became a bit too slow for me (I didn't pass that big world - I guess it was the last chapter). Overall a very well polished, nicely presented and self explaining game. Tablet version ftw :) Good job!
Dec 16 19:35:00 7h 45m Snow World Looking at number of people collaborated, the amount of work is not unbelievable but you did great job creating the graphical style and combat. Also noticed there is some kind of randomization.

I think the result is expected from Sparklin Labs :)
This could become a larger game easily btw, do it!
Dec 16 19:54:00 19m 00s Kitty McBlubberton I got to be 9kg and reached the end. You already told me that this was more of an experiment so I won't bother commenting on the game side. I think you could use a little more zoomed out camera and a longer parkour to demonstrate more of this experiment. Keep up the good work :)
Dec 16 20:25:00 31m 00s Z4KM4STER - Zookeeper DJ I could get gold in first and silver in others on the first run and felt pretty proud :P I think the mechanic is really challenging and fun but graphics could be much better. I liked how music worked, though I cannot say I liked the type of music you used. Still great job, keep it up!
Dec 16 20:30:00 5m 00s Nightlight I liked how you set up the mood but not a fan of graphics. The game keeps you on the edge which is cool. Also would be nice if we could skip the intro dialog faster. I wouldn't spend more time on this, you can do better by redeveloping and redesigning it with more player interaction.
Dec 17 00:34:00 4h 04m Decay Dynamics Mechanic is solid. I think it could be just a little bit slower game with other types of robots that you could produce. They could be with different features and stuff. Or more awesome would be to combine pieces yourself to create custom robots. Great work, I'd like to see more entries like this.
Dec 17 00:43:00 9m 00s Life: The Game I usually don't like these kind of games because they lack variety of interactions but it seems like you nailed it. I also like the topic you chose. I would still work on graphics but everything else is cool, keep up the good work!
Dec 17 18:48:00 18h 05m The Incredible Blobert I like the mechanic a lot but the realization could be better. Sound effects also get annoying after a short while. I also like the graphics but in 72 hours could be done better.
Dec 17 19:17:00 29m 00s Wizard and The Sun Great game. Graphics and audio could be improved but I loved the mechanics you used. It reminds me of old days :)
Dec 17 19:29:00 12m 00s Deep Growth I kinda liked the mechanic but at one place it failed, I respawned on the flower thing. I don't know if that was intentional or not. Sound and graphics should be reworked for sure. I think you can do better. Also about writing, it wasn't really funny for me, you may try to work on that. Good luck!
Dec 17 19:38:00 9m 00s Downfall in Polarity I think it would be better if the color change was permanent. Also a checkpoint at the start of a level could be nice. I failed the second level immediately. Graphics and sound need rework. Also colliders were off I think. Expecting better next time!
Dec 17 19:57:00 19m 00s A Growing Threat Really fun game, I loved how you combined bullet hell and lemmings mechanics especially. I think you should spend more time on graphics and sound design next time and you might have a winning title. Great game.
Dec 17 20:12:00 15m 00s Ortogonalis I think this would make a nice mobile game. It seems innovative in the way you represent it but this is a very old mechanic working on mostly reflexes. Reminds me of those machines with prizes inside and you've to stop the quare at the right spot. It was slow sometimes, not sure if because of Firefox and it did take input before the right position. All in all, addicting gameplay.
Dec 17 23:05:00 2h 53m Potatiana Jones As I told you on stream, it would be nice if vine length has consistency. The graphics have Commodore64 vibe to me but anyway color palette could be improved. Probably you know that sound is not the best. I like the idea of various seeds. An idea could be getting rid of tile constraint and letting player choose the spot that seed will take effect on. This is only if you want to work further on it though. I'll be remembering these games so, I expect better next time! :)
Dec 17 23:29:00 24m 00s The Magnificient Creature After I talked to the fisher boy, the game just stopped and I couldn't find a way to continue, not sure if this is a bug. Graphics and sound needs to improve a lot. It's not particularly fun also, you just choose dialog options. I think you should add more interaction if you want to make an adventure game. There are also grammar mistakes in English version.
Dec 17 23:35:00 6m 00s Gjallarhorn Before I forgot, let me mention, when you leave scoreboard it goes back to splash screen, not very nice. I think it has potential to be a popular mobile game but I am not sure the idea would be original. I think I liked the graphics most. Sound is also okay. You need to think about what you can add to the gameplay though.
Dec 17 23:56:00 21m 00s Hedgie The Explorer I liked graphics the most but I think especially for a jam entry it's quite short. Another problem was that it wasn't challenging enough but I guess that's also because of the length. There could be more challenging levels later on. Mechanics are not so original I'm sorry but this could be a mobile game and maybe even a popular one.
Dec 18 00:12:00 16m 00s Isle of Plenty I thought not being able to build farms was a missing feature but now I see what you did there. This kind of game has a lot of potential. I think this could be a more developed game if you gave more options to the player. You kind of force the game to go only on one way. That kinda kills the fun. However as I said, you can build up on this. Keep up the good work.
Dec 18 00:28:00 16m 00s ZORC I was excited when the game told me to think outside the box because I like that kind of puzzles but it was not what I expected. I think mechanics are great, it could be developed to a more advanced system with more puzzles. I guess you already know graphics need work. Oh, and sound was soothing, good job with that.
Dec 18 00:42:00 14m 00s Slash Quest It's a great entry, graphics are great, everything works properly, sound and music are great. I just think it was a little too easy and the ending could be better. I guess even with two studios 3 days is not enough time to put everything in. Thanks for creating this beauty.
Dec 18 01:00:00 18m 00s Long Long: A snake lies in the Past I like graphics, sound effects and music in this game. I also like how you used classic mechanic of snake. However the game trolls you quite a lot. This includes rare checkpoints. I also think that it wasn't so responsive. I couldn't manage to finish the game but I'd love to. Good job.
Dec 18 01:18:00 18m 00s There's No Going Back Good idea for a mechanic. Probably it's done before though. I find levels challenging and you did it without making it too difficult and frustrating. Graphics could use a touch. Good entry, keep it coming.
Dec 18 01:33:00 15m 00s SAAAM I think my only concern with this game is the user interface. It could be done nicer. Other than that, great use of assets to create the environment. Reminded me of Stanley Parable, I'm pretty sure you were inspired by it. I had a very little performance problem but that wasn't much of a big deal. Great work.
Dec 18 01:42:00 9m 00s Cave Swing I like the mechanics but it was too hard for me :( I guess this could make a good mobile game. My favorite part was chosen colors. Music & sounds also went with style.
Dec 19 20:19:00 42h 37m On Tario As I know your previous entries, this one was a little bit of a downer. I think it was because neither gameplay nor story was great and I really wonder how you came up with this strange idea :D I like the art and sound though, I cannot say anything about them. There were a few bugs like a small glitch one the right side when I was raising up the first tower. Also every time I skip a dialog, tower lights were resetting. You increased our expectations so it will be really hard to top that now :)
Dec 20 14:11:00 17h 52m 32r Thanks for playing our game, I did not really get your point about stating that it was made for the jam. We wrote it in Credits section of the game and it's a Jam Entry as written next to my nickname on game page.
