| Aug 24 02:25:00 | Bug life | Fun! Controls well. The slidy momentum idea is good, but there aren't enough levels to really get the feel for it. | |
| Aug 24 02:28:00 | 3m 00s | Moonlight | Really neat. I especially like the music. I wish there was more control over the jump because a lot of times you need to jump up a platform, but you land right in the fire because you can't do a short hop. |
| Aug 24 02:38:00 | 10m 00s | Lady Bug | This is really impressive. It looks great in motion, and getting a good run in a level feels really cool. It feels like the guards shoot too quickly, though, to the point that there's nothing you can do to avoid the bullets. Even when you find a strategy that works for a level, it doesn't feel repeatable, and you can get shot seemingly at random. It also takes too long to restart a level considering how often you die. I would have liked to keep playing, but I had to stop on the third level because I felt like too many of my deaths were random and I was just sitting waiting to start over. |
| Aug 24 02:47:00 | 9m 00s | Monsters In The Dark (Bugged) | I don't think tank controls work well for this. Would have been more intuitive to just use arrow keys. I will say that the discordant music and constant yelling and being trapped in a room with no windows or doors does a good job of setting the mood. |
| Aug 24 03:03:00 | 16m 00s | Locked Out | Really good entry. The levels are interesting and the techniques for using the princess were fun to figure out. The control layout felt a little confusing, and some parts of the levels are hard to see against the background. The game crashes when you touch the white boss guy. I played up to him 4 times, but wasn't able to avoid getting hit. |
| Aug 24 03:24:00 | 21m 00s | Village Terrorizer | Neat idea to have the city live and grow over time! I thought the visuals had a neat style and the music went well with the pace of the game. The bloom effect makes things hard to see, though, especially the text in the tutorial. The game felt very slow to play. The attack speed, mana recharge time, and the amount of health enemies have add up to make the levels much longer than they should be. It also doesn't feel like there's any challenge to the game, since the soldiers don't seem to chase you much. You can just shoot fireballs and make your way through the levels without any difficulty. |
| Aug 24 03:38:00 | 14m 00s | Dungeon Brawl | Quite neat looking, and I like to see multiplayer games. I didn't have anyone else to play with though, so I can't comment on what it would be like with all 4 players. The attack animation as the human and as the monster takes way too long to recover from. The game feels unresponsive since you're frozen for so long. It's also hard to get a feel for the range and direction on the attack, especially with the silhouette graphics, since you're frequently completely obscured by the other players. The footstep audio is very harsh. I was wearing headphones and it hurt my ears when I first started it up. I'll try to play this with some friends, since I think it would make a lot more since with other people. |
| Aug 24 04:49:00 | 1h 11m | Oranges In Love With My Fly | I think your game length estimate is a little optimistic. I played for an hour and got to the second to last level. The gameplay feels sluggish, and the maps drag on indefinitely with neither side able to press any advantage. The overall speed of the units, and the rate you gain units could be increased, and more information should be surfaced (like health bars) so that the player can see what's happening and intuit what to do differently.

The art and setting is very good. The dialog feels a bit heavy handed, but overall I found that side of the game interesting and cool. |
| Aug 24 05:09:00 | 20m 00s | Dolphin Meat | Fun game. I like how you can fly into the air and elbow drop the ships (or whatever dolphins have instead of elbows). I also like how the steel drums are complimented by the screams of drowning sailors. |
| Aug 24 05:46:00 | 37m 00s | Vermy The Vomiting Zombie | I think having separate controls for the shooting direction would make the game more exciting, since you wouldn't just be running away all the time. I like the character designs and the animations.

I noticed a bug where an enemy gets stuck in the door and the level never ends. |
| Aug 24 06:02:00 | 16m 00s | Monster - Prison Break | I like how the character smoothly turns as you move around. I like how the first level feels like a big cool maze. I like the rhythm when you hold the shoot button down. I like how the bullets bounce off the walls. I don't like how when I died on level three it started me back at the beginning :( |
| Aug 24 17:34:00 | 11h 32m | Monster Trader | This game is a lot of fun. I especially like the character designs and the big levels. There are a whole lot of items, which is really cool, but sometimes it felt like it was impossible to find anyone buying what you had. After the first few levels I was just buying rare items since you can always get a good return on them.

Also, the text in the menus is very hard to read against that light background. |
| Aug 24 17:44:00 | 10m 00s | Safari | Nice topical game. It's quite hard to aim the gun, though. I really liked the lion model. |
| Aug 24 17:57:00 | 13m 00s | server INFLICTION | Very cool style. The music that plays while you complete a contract is too cheerful :D |
| Aug 24 18:45:00 | 48m 00s | Tales of the Underworld: Rebellion of the Souls | Fun platformer with cute characters. I just wish you could do shorter jumps so it didn't feel like you were stuck hanging in the air so much. And is it possible to get those coins on level 3? It's driving me crazy! |
| Aug 24 19:22:00 | 37m 00s | PokEscape: Magicrap's Stealthy Journey for Survival & Gyrodeuce | This is an awesome game! Stealthing around and dodging pokeballs feels very satisfying. The achievements for each level are a nice added challenge. |
| Aug 24 20:42:00 | 1h 20m | Trullskoll | This is my favorite entry so far! The art is really great. The bone armor looks so cool! I was also really impressed by the number of mechanics in the game, but it seemed to move very slowly. Once I got the spear and bone armor I was able to grind way more resources than I needed, but I still got very few human encounters, and sometimes it seemed like I missed the humans and had to wait another day to hope to see them. I played for a long time and only wound up with 3 metal. |
| Aug 24 21:19:00 | 37m 00s | Bloodflame | Nice game. An ambitious idea implemented well. I especially appreciated that I got to keep my skills after I died, since I probably wouldn't have stuck with it long enough to see the whole skill tree otherwise. |
| Aug 24 21:28:00 | 9m 00s | Yeti Destruction - Ski Resort | Nice game! The controls felt nice, but it would have been cool to have a button to speed up to help get away from snowballs. I liked that the skiers would just run into trees on their own :) |
| Aug 24 21:42:00 | 14m 00s | Abduction | Very well done. There are a good number of mechanics and it's fun to experiment with how the AI reacts to the different powers. The story parts were funny :) |
| Aug 24 21:52:00 | 10m 00s | WICKED SK8 | A skateboarding game! The art style works quite well, and the billboards and vocal samples were funny. I think mouse controls would have worked better for turning, so that you could turn at more than one speed. It was fun to explore and find the orbs :) |
| Aug 25 00:47:00 | 2h 55m | Monster Truck Logistics | I thought the premise of this game was very funny. The controls are pretty hard to handle. The truck turns too slowly and the trailers never go where you want them to, so the levels feel kind of tedious. Also, the trailers like to go flying off screen, never to be seen again. |
| Aug 25 01:09:00 | 22m 00s | Collateral Choice | Clever puzzle idea, but a lot of things weren't clear without watching the video, like how the teleporters work. |
| Aug 25 05:16:00 | 4h 07m | Daddy, Don't Explode Me | Very polished entry! The puzzles were all interesting to solve, although it took me quite a while to realize the trick of the second to last one. The game is too sad, though :(

Wish it had wasd control for the camera since the screen edge detection can be finicky. |
