| Aug 24 03:11:00 | Devil Drinker | Gotta add a download link, bro | |
| Aug 24 03:31:00 | 20m 00s | Gleeok | I wish I was able to play because this looks awesome! I use Opera as my browser, though, so I can't view Unity games in it. |
| Aug 24 03:36:00 | 5m 00s | Unsolicited | Definitely makes me think of Paper's Please, but I did get bored very quickly. It's just a very specific type of game, that's all. |
| Aug 24 03:49:00 | 13m 00s | Singularity Simulator | Could have been better. It felt like there wasn't any progression at all because of the fact that it was a single "level" and I couldn't tell if the extremely large number of humans was a joke or just a way to make the game endless. It would have been way more fun if there was SOME kind of progression (every 20 kills you go up a level) even if that progression didn't do anything. <br/>I did like the simplicity and art style, though. <br/> <br/>Also: "Ugh!" |
| Aug 24 03:56:00 | 7m 00s | Retreat - The Reckless Move | I assume the game's over once you leave without dying because that's as far as I got. <br/>Great example of Minimum Viable Product at work. <br/>Not much in Innovation but really fun to just destroy stuff. |
| Aug 24 04:02:00 | 6m 00s | Game with an epic plot | Simple, but challenging. Maybe a bit too dependent on RNG to be as challenging as it is, but it's fine. <br/> <br/>The walls of text wasn't great. A full tutorial level would have been way better because I wasn't entirely sure what I was supposed to be doing when I started as I didn't know what things looked like, where they were or how to find them. |
| Aug 24 04:10:00 | 8m 00s | Monster Machine | Good job. I love these kinds of games, so it had me for a while. Music was definitely a strong point for this one, too. <br/>I would have liked it if the game was more complex though, like if WHERE you placed things mattered rather than just the number that you had being the only variable. |
| Aug 24 04:29:00 | 19m 00s | Earthpocalypse | Fine game, but it could have had more depth like a progression tree (better versions of buildings to construct, etc.) Also, kind of a missed opportunity that the earth doesn't pulse with the music :/ |
| Aug 24 04:40:00 | 11m 00s | who' s the monster | Tip: Don't force the game to be online for competitions, especially when you can't guarantee there'll be enough people playing. |
| Aug 24 04:45:00 | 5m 00s | 7 Days A Monster King | Managed to get about 4500. Fine game you've got! |
| Aug 24 04:50:00 | 5m 00s | Hydra | We need pc_monster_Data to play it as a download |
| Aug 24 04:52:00 | 2m 00s | Beware the Experiment | Hey! Wanted to rate your game because you rated mine :) <br/> <br/>"the error message got me the first time as well(I think its meant to be there)" What message was that? |
| Aug 25 23:19:00 | 42h 27m | Sefivn | Definitely caught the Nintendo influence on the music ;) |
| Aug 25 23:31:00 | 12m 00s | Doctor Happy | Didn't love the lack of progression. I did love the Wario Ware like minigames! Keep up the good work! |
| Aug 25 23:53:00 | 22m 00s | It's Only You | Don't think this really is the best concept for a game development competition. You may have done better in the Jam if you had someone working on art, someone else working on design, and someone else working on development while you focused on the music. It just seemed that your focus was more on getting good acapella music rather than making a good game. |
| Aug 25 23:56:00 | 3m 00s | Omnom Children | Just reminding you that you have to include a download for the source. <br/>Also pressing Enter to start didn't work. |
| Aug 26 00:01:00 | 5m 00s | Sales of a Deathman | Not bad! One of the first games I actually played to completion! <br/>There could have been more depth here like having the player set the initial price then have them and the AI buyers haggle a bit as well as allowing the player to show one car that was wrong on purpose then switch over to another one that was more appealing to make it seem even better. |
| Aug 26 00:05:00 | 4m 00s | Death of a Lich | I've been looking forward to this ever since the first screenshot! Sadly, it doesn't load on my computer... I'll try again tomorrow! |
| Aug 26 00:06:00 | 1m 00s | M.O.N.ST.E.R | I've been looking forward to this ever since the first screenshot! Sadly, it doesn't load on my computer... I'll try again tomorrow! |
| Aug 26 01:16:00 | 1h 10m | Almost Heroic | Hm this looks cool... <br/>Oh... It's an RPG Maker game... <br/>Wait a second... this is a GOOD RPG Maker game! <br/> <br/>I wish all games made with the tool were this good! It's a shame that most of them use default settings on everything and bring shame to it! <br/> <br/>Loved the NES level graphics and music (I can tell you put the 3 colors per sprite restriction on yourself and it really shows!) The fights as a rhythm mini-game mechanic was a bit interesting... If it were developed more I'm sure it'd be a really cool mechanic! <br/> <br/>It's a bit long so I'll have to finish it later, though. <br/> <br/>Also, what's with the pervy old man? xD |
| Aug 29 06:24:00 | 77h 08m | Spooky Cuties | Nice concept. Could be fleshed out more just because I got kind of sick of spamming my keyboard to progress the text so it'd probably work better if the text automatically progressed and tapping back would just clear the whole thing. <br/> <br/>Definitely funny though; I was chuckling to myself a few times in there. |
| Aug 29 06:29:00 | 5m 00s | A Matter of Survival | Got 11 kills. Fine game, but there were a few shortcomings: <br/>4 directional movement is something you MUST avoid, or at least make it so the button pressed second has priority over the buttons pressed earlier. <br/>AI wasn't amazing, and the aim-bot on the red humans was a bit broken so it became a bit of just "go for the ones without guns, then survive for as long as possible while running towards the red ones." |
| Aug 29 06:32:00 | 3m 00s | Detritus | Won fairly quickly once I'd figured it out. Art style was good, but a more accurate physics engine would be good. |
| Aug 31 15:26:00 | 56h 54m | Hero Mate | Great game, but I'm not sure if you qualify for Audio if you're using audio that other people made :/ |
| Sep 1 02:51:00 | 11h 25m | MO&STER TV | Would you mind giving more information about why may game doesn't work? What OS do you have? What are your general computer specs (RAM, CPU name, GPU name/memory)? <br/> <br/>I can't fix something if I can't figure out what's wrong the same way a mechanic can't fix your car if you leave it at home and just say "It doesn't work." |
| Sep 1 03:04:00 | 13m 00s | Clickacabra | Pretty good game, kind of similar to mine, actually. Just a bit more... morbid ;) |
| Sep 2 21:24:00 | 42h 20m | Pissed off Zombie | Not sure if you can qualify for "Audio" if you didn't make it... |
| Sep 6 18:33:00 | 93h 09m | Can I Haz Monsters? | Camera was a bit slow... I don't love having to swipe across my mouse pad 3 times just to turn 90 degrees :/ <br/> <br/>I think the game was pretty good, but the gameplay would have been the same if you WEREN'T the monster so that's a bit lacking in the Theme. <br/> <br/>Also, while the concept is really innovative, I think it'd be even more fun if the monsters' text was legible enough to try to play through some kind of hard mode that removed the translations so the player would have to take notes and figure out what words mean through context clues. <br/> <br/>IE: Rather than just picking up words, you can find the clock which has "fibble" written on it. There! "Fibble" means clock. Then you can ask if someone has a "fibble" and they'll say "Gar" so you can write that "gar" means no. Then you can give the clock to them and ask if they have it, then they'll say <br/>"Sar" which would be written down as meaning yes. <br/> <br/>I just think that'd be a bit more fun and difficult to solve the puzzles that way |
