Apr 20 04:32:00 Magnets & Lasers A seemingly simple game that turned out to be very fun and rewarding. My only suggestion would be for you to adopt different graphics for the magnets to differentiate when they're on / off. Kudos.
Apr 20 04:57:00 25m 00s TeleMage That was really really fun. It took me a few tries for the mechanics to click for me, but once I started to exploit the enemy movements it became super enjoyable. Great stuff.
Apr 20 05:03:00 6m 00s Bird Quest Contrary to what the screenshots suggested, the game proved to be charming and enjoyable. The bird struggles a bit with narrow corridors, but it was overall a solid fun experience.
Apr 20 05:24:00 21m 00s Sevastopol Fantastic atmosphere! I really like the restrained, minimalist approach to your design choices. One thing I personally felt was slightly awkward was the motion control. I feel that it may have been better to map the motions to respond to the direction that the character is facing, as opposed to the 4 compass directions. Kudos.
Apr 20 05:39:00 15m 00s RELIC That was stunningly beautiful. The game felt like a prelude for an epic space odyssey, and I'm now sad that it's over. I really enjoyed the dialog as well as the humor. Awesome stuff!
Apr 20 05:45:00 6m 00s Giant Spiky Ball of Death I had a blast playing this game. I loved the simplicity of mechanics as well as the multiple enemy variations. Really fun stuff!
Apr 20 05:54:00 9m 00s Billy McMath Solves Problems That was outrageous!!! I loved the cringe-inducing (in a good way) voice acting as well as the hilarious drawings. Awesome!
Apr 20 06:01:00 7m 00s Revenge of the Clones Dude that was whack... and I loved it.
Apr 20 16:52:00 10h 51m Labyrinth: The Watering Just as an FYI, Chrome browser labels your game file as 'malicious' and force removes your game after download.
Apr 20 16:59:00 7m 00s yoyoMadness Yay, a fellow yo-yo entry! It was really satisfying beating the enemies to bloody pulp using the yo-yo almost as a pendulum. I didn't realize that I could launch the additional yo-yo with my right mouse button on my first try, but that was just me failing to read the description before playing. Awesome stuff!
Apr 20 17:09:00 10m 00s Drums of the Dead Ha, that was really fun. Hearing the instruments die down as the band members get devoured is a nice touch. I wish the rhythm bars are a little more generous with timing, but only because I suck at these. Fun stuff!
Apr 20 17:26:00 17m 00s Mellowball A neat little game that was charming to look at and satisfying to play. The game is great in its simplicity, and I liked that it does get pretty tough to achieve high scores. (I only got to 2000) There is a bug that lets the ball go through the wall at times and makes it disappear, leaving the main character vulnerable and lonely :(
Apr 20 17:29:00 3m 00s Absorption Demo dll is missing :( The game won't run
Apr 20 17:36:00 7m 00s Asteroid Escape The controls get a little frustrating, and I'm not always sure what I'm purchasing when I click on the green pluses. But I think the potential is there for a fun game. I did enjoy eventually clearing out enough asteroids and blasting through the space. Kudos!
Apr 20 17:43:00 7m 00s KimmyJong The game kind of drags on, and I had to give up when I reached what I believe was the 5th stage. It's a shame because I really wanted to see where the story lead to. It would be interesting to introduce new enemies or mechanics to keep the game from getting repetitive. Kudos!
Apr 20 17:47:00 4m 00s Astro-Tow I liked the physics based gameplay and the ease of controls. I also appreciated the regenerating shield system, otherwise it could have been frustrating to play without trying to scratch anything. The gameplay isn't the most interesting yet, but I think the idea has a lot of potential. Great entry!
Apr 20 17:57:00 10m 00s Words Are My Weapons I really liked the concept behind the game. I think you had a lot of interesting ideas here as well. I do wish the game could have been more about solving puzzles and combining the words together cleverly, but I didn't mind the platforming action either. I see a lot of potential for this idea. Keep it up!
Apr 20 18:01:00 4m 00s Burd Turd A fun concept. It wasn't inherently clear at first what the 'Hit This' color suggested, but it was pretty fun once I figured everything out. I always enjoy twists on existing gaming concepts, and I think this was a pretty good one at that. Great use of the theme too. Kudos.
Apr 20 18:38:00 37m 00s Rare Drop A fun and addictive game. I think you've captured the spirit of these loot-drive RPG games (such as Diablo) really well. It was a fun 10 minute clickfest. Awesome!
Apr 20 18:45:00 7m 00s Lunar Combat Huh, that was a pretty fun game. It took me back to all those 1-on-1 multiplayer games that I used to play with friends back in 2000s. It was easy to pick up and have fun playing. Great music as well. Kudos.
Apr 21 01:00:00 6h 15m The Day of BEEkoning That was pretty fun. I liked having to juggle the two different group of bees. The fact that newly spawned bees follow you arrow also made for an interesting mechanic, and helped me harvest quicker. The graphics and sounds were enjoyable as well.
Apr 21 01:10:00 10m 00s AxeShip This game is hard! I really like the concept behind the axe wielding spaceship. Maybe having a life counter instead of insta-death may prove to be super fun. Kudos.
Apr 21 01:15:00 5m 00s Special Agent That was really funny and clever! It appeared as an action game but it was actually a delightful puzzle game. A great take on the theme. Awesome job!
Apr 22 06:18:00 29h 03m Gun Gun Evolution I really liked it. The action is really satisfying, and the ridiculous power-ups make each level very exciting. I'm glad that you implemented the skip-level feature (had to rely on it a few times). The game reminded me of both Teleglitch and Hotline Miami, but I'm not calling your game derivative. They're great games to take inspiration from, and I do think you combined the two games in a really fun way. Great job!
Apr 22 06:23:00 5m 00s Crystalline Whoa. That was really amazing. What an unexpected treat. I thought your puzzles were simply brilliant. Fantastic way to tie in the theme as well. Brilliant!
Apr 22 06:49:00 26m 00s Monochromatic Wonderland! Nice. I think this might be a really fun game with a little bit of polish. The powers are very unique and interesting (aside from purple). I also found the music to be very intriguing and well fitting. Awesome stuff!
Apr 26 22:41:00 111h 52m Squirrel Man, nuts! I liked the idea a lot. Some frustrations aside, I think the mechanic was solid. Surprisingly addictive as well. Kudos!
Apr 26 23:02:00 21m 00s Just another sketch on the wall Beautiful game! Simply stunning. Hard to believe how great is looks given the time constraint.
Apr 26 23:08:00 6m 00s Lost Penguin I did enjoy the puzzle behind killing the boss, but the difficulty was a little bit too high for me. I just couldn't afford to replay after the 20th or so times. I had a fun time though. Good job!
Apr 26 23:19:00 11m 00s Trap For Ants I got to 125 on the first play and turned it off a bit disappointed that no other enemy types or difficulty increase would happen. But other than that, a fun game with a lot of potential. I, for one, really enjoy the magnifying glass effect. Kudos!
Apr 26 23:29:00 10m 00s Night Light Apparently a rat killed me even though I was outside of the building and the rat was inside! Other than the small bug, I did enjoy the atmosphere you've managed o create. Kudos.
Apr 26 23:32:00 3m 00s Wired In I am glad you've put in the non-epilepsy mode. I just have a hard time figuring out why the screenblink mode is the default recommended way to play. Anyways, I enjoyed the gameplay very much. With a little bit of polish, I can see it being a success on the mobile platform as well. Kudos.
Apr 26 23:43:00 11m 00s An Unconventional Weapon Ouch, I did not see that coming. Great fun entry. I liked how satisfying it felt to convert the gloomies into happies. Seeing the background change with every pedestrian was also very fun. Great job!
Apr 26 23:48:00 5m 00s Maggie Is the HTML game embedded on this page the submission version or post-comp version?
Apr 27 00:00:00 12m 00s Death By Pointer That was more fun than it initially appeared to be! It was surprisingly satisfying to hear the tick as the stickmen went down to my pointy cursor. It would be great to see more variations and elements introduced to this game. Kudos.
Apr 27 00:06:00 6m 00s RED CARD As a soccer player myself, it was fun picturing all the scum referees as they went down to my shots. Fun high-score game. Kudos!
Apr 27 00:25:00 19m 00s Ice Story ( koori monogatari 氷物語 ) It definitely has the charm of those Japanese arcade games back from the 90's. It was as if I had discovered an SNES gem. Not only is it beautifully crafted with cute music, it was also quite fun to play. Congrats on creating such a finely polished game!
Apr 27 05:25:00 5h 00m Precipitation Predicament I enjoyed the water splashing idea a lot. Very good take on the theme. Kudos!
Apr 27 05:58:00 33m 00s Duck Attack That was pretty fun. I liked the charming graphics as well as the simple controls. Kudos!
Apr 27 06:04:00 6m 00s Dye I love narrative driven games, but I thought your game could benefit from a slightly more interactivity. I enjoyed what you've attempted here though. Keep up the good job!
Apr 27 06:23:00 19m 00s A Knife Made Of Whispers Beautiful game! Razor sharp innovation as always.
Apr 28 04:15:00 21h 52m Insomnia I'm not quite sure what I'm shooting at. What do the negative scores mean?
Apr 28 04:21:00 6m 00s The Pen is Mightier than the Sword I think the game could have been more enjoyable with just a few tweaks. One being an implementation of a 'Play Again' button, and the second being a clearer hit box. I thought the sound design was pretty excellent. Fits well into the literary theme. Kudos!
Apr 29 03:06:00 22h 45m ERR I think the concept has a lot of potential to be a very fun game. I liked the unique approach to the ability cooldown, forcing you to run around instead of standing still and killing everything. I think the difficulty curve could be made steeper for a less repetitive feel, and perhaps more enemy types could have made things more interesting. Good job!
Apr 29 05:31:00 2h 25m CurseMan A fun entry! I only wish the curses would be more varied. Loved the concept.
Apr 30 05:38:00 24h 07m Chef Adventure There seems to be some critical bugs with the game. Like... unpredictable and completely game-crashing.
Apr 30 05:42:00 4m 00s Umbrella Defender Huh, that was a lot more fun than it initially appeared. I loved the difficulty ramp as well. It was a very satisfying experience. I think being able to keep track of some kind of a high score might be fun too. Great job!
Apr 30 05:49:00 7m 00s Nasal Defense Force 2033 Ha, that was hilarious! I enjoyed the nostril clearing journey. Once I got to the brain I was a little lost as to what I'm supposed to do, but I think I was able to affect different parts of the brain by picking at it. At one point, the screen turned black and white LOL. Kudos!
May 1 05:06:00 23h 17m AETerno: Warrior of Light That was pretty fun! I did enjoy the enemy variation as well as the somewhat unorthodox gameplay of 'push out to kill'. The game was a bit easy in that I was able to win on my second attempt, but it was a very satisfying experience. Kudos!
May 1 05:12:00 6m 00s Floyd the Pufferfish: Slayer of Squid That was very enjoyable. I could see this game becoming successful on a mobile platform as well. Great job!
May 1 05:33:00 21m 00s ForgeCraft Fantastic game. Everything from the concept to the execution was simply extraordinary, especially given the LD time frame. My favorite part is the amount of polish this game proudly displays. This game gets the highest score from me.
May 3 07:29:00 49h 56m Weapon Regulator Damn fine game. I really like the unique approach you took in designing the game mechanics. Really creative. I also enjoyed the decision to keep the player out of the danger zone in the beginning of the game and easing the players in. Really fantastic stuff!
