Apr 21 17:23:00 Velo-City Very nice! Reminds me of wipeout, and the difficulty at the end is really intense. Everything before that is super easy though, and the difficulty seems to spike at a certain point. The flight controls are really satisfying too.
Apr 21 17:23:00 0s Ray Gamer Pretty good as your first game, was fun until it crashed 5s in... after that happened my score seemed to keep increasing, and I got 250k points after a few minutes of leaving it on.
Apr 21 17:27:00 4m 00s Chlorine Dawn Cool concept, great execution. The only problem was that apart from the second last level, I didn't have to use the pick up/put down mechanics at all... (last level you could just run to the end without pulling the switch!) I feel that with more puzzling levels this would have been much better. Very good audio for it all being made by yourself in the 48h!
Apr 21 17:38:00 11m 00s ICE CREAM Hilarious concept - loved playing! Only problem was that while the offset camera looked cool, it made it hard to control for some reason... Hard to explain.
Apr 21 19:03:00 1h 25m Melter Art style is really cool, love how abstract it is (the two colour thing looks very ZX Spectrum). The gameplay itself both interesting and challenging, though maybe a little too challenging. I felt that a tracer or something showing the trajectory of your shot would have really helped a ton. Well done!
Apr 21 22:21:00 3h 18m Pencils and Salt Cool idea, completing it was fun, but buying chips just for getting salt was a little tedious. I found that if you placed blocks on top of an existing block or in a space occupied by the player, nothing would happen but you'd still lose a block... On level 2 I didn't know what key to press to activate the button, so I had to spam all of the keys until it worked. The game itself is quite techically impressive - dynamic maps aren't the easiest thing to implement. Nice work!
Apr 24 02:10:00 51h 49m Frazzle Dazzle Fantastic entry, loved every second of it! From the cute concept to the interesting platforming mechanics, you totally nailed it. The only thing it could have used is a little more opposition in the form of enemies or challenging platforming near the endgame (tho its non linear, so theres not really an endgame). Great work!!
Apr 24 02:28:00 18m 00s Bomb Boy Platforming mechanics were fantastic and the game is really satisfying to play - very polished for a compo game. The only real problem was the tank controls, I was expecting something a little more like your usual 3d platformer. Either way, awesome game!
Apr 24 16:24:00 13h 56m Trojan Horse Simulator: The Art of Subterfuge Really cool, physics and controls work surprisingly well! One problem though... I was able to fly the horse to troy by spamming right and up. I don't think that's how it happened back then, but that might have actually worked even better than their original plan. Graphics aren't the best but the solid gameplay makes up for it. Nice work!
Apr 26 20:19:00 51h 55m Pillow Fight! Nice work! Could have used a more complicated arena, and a reliable way of dodging enemy swings (maybe make the jump on demand?). The music and graphics are solid, great first entry!
May 2 13:01:00 136h 42m Temple Pop Pretty funny, a cool concept but generally I'm expecting a little more interactivity from games. It is cool that you made this with pico-8 though, and the sprites are superb!
May 2 13:26:00 25m 00s Cave Berries Amazing! Loved the yoshi's story style collection of the berries on the screen, and everything from the level design to the music was perfect. Nice work!
May 2 13:33:00 7m 00s Hug Arena Incredibly polished, everything flows really well and the gameplay is well thought out. Sound design is really great as well!
May 8 18:16:00 148h 43m Billy McMath Solves Problems Amazing. What an experience. Reminds me of Gitaroo Man for some reason...
