Aug 25 23:03:00 Twinkle After the grueling final hours of my own LD push, this was quite possibly the best thing I could have played. A nice relaxing game about connecting stars. <br/> <br/>The audio is really soothing.
Aug 25 23:11:00 8m 00s Shinyrock Lovely intro with nice pacing and humour. Unfortunately the game itself isn't really fun. However the graphics looks quite nice and I think some audio this could've had a very nice atmosphere.
Aug 25 23:17:00 6m 00s NECLiD At the core, it is a puzzle game like I have seen all my life. But the level of production on the visuals and audio is such, that it becomes an enjoyable experience. Very high level of polish. Default gameplay is a bit on the slow side :)
Aug 25 23:28:00 11m 00s Inverse Worlds The core mechanic works well with the theme. <br/>I think this should've been split into smaller levels, at least starting with simpler ones. Now the size of the world is a bit overwhelming and doesn't contribute to the fun of the game. Jumping mechanic is interesting, but a bit hard to get hold of :)
Aug 26 04:20:00 4h 52m Viking Runner I like the visual theme. Also adding the melee attack provides some variety to gameplay. Hit detection seems a bit off, sometimes I wasn't sure why I died.
Aug 26 04:31:00 11m 00s My sweet garden Gardening simulator is not what I thought I'd find in the jam :D Not much can be said about it. Everything works as you'd expect.
Aug 26 04:39:00 8m 00s The Crossover Episode Certainly not bad for a first try :) I enjoyed the pixel art, even if the gameplay itself is a bit thin.
Aug 26 04:47:00 8m 00s Work World Graphics look very nice and the music works out well. It is unusual having 2 different jumps as the main mechanic for the character, but you did a good enough job of designing your level around it. Sound effects would've been nice.
Aug 26 05:00:00 13m 00s Spanner Already encountered a couple variations of this mechanic, but yours is quite nicely implemented. I liked the minimalistic sound.
Aug 26 05:07:00 7m 00s Diddy Tingle Coincidence or not, I remember a very similar scenario from Nes Remix on the Wii U ;) The sound effect definitely evokes memories.
Aug 26 05:17:00 10m 00s CosmicCom: Connecting Worlds Click things and numbers get bigger :D I would've liked to see some visual representation of for example the satellites and other spoils you ruin your wrist for in this game.
Aug 26 05:22:00 5m 00s Grim Gateway Very polished work. The mechanic is very clever. The only criticism I can think of is that sometimes you leap into enemies because the camera follows you a bit high.
Aug 26 10:38:00 5h 16m Space Transport Tycoon Very impressive ingame systems you have going on. It takes a while to figure out things, and there are things that could be streamlined (such as only displaying import/export for things you have available). No audio, which is a shame, but a nice entry nevertheless :)
Aug 26 10:47:00 9m 00s Mirror Worlds I liked this very much. Simple concept, but strong level design makes it interesting. When you get to level 3 the game starts to show its potential :) <br/>Having to click 'retry' is bit of annoyance since the game is otherwise played from keyboard. <br/> <br/>Nice!
Aug 26 10:59:00 12m 00s IsoWorlds Got that familiar Settlers feeling from this, couldn't wait to get to the next island :D I think the game looks nice and cleverly plays into the theme too. <br/> <br/>Game ran fine for me.
Aug 26 11:12:00 13m 00s Pushback Cities I'll confess I didn't have a second player to test this with. However I wanted to rate it, because I think it is a cool game :) <br/>I really like how you've mashed up a puzzle game and a sim-style game in this. It also works very well with the theme. <br/> <br/>Graphics look very nice. All I was missing was some music to create some urgency in the setting. <br/> <br/>Very nice!
Aug 26 20:15:00 9h 03m Ecosystem Cool and original idea, especially with the round islands. My rabbits got a bit suicidal though and just walked into the ocean :D
Aug 26 20:23:00 8m 00s Warmageddon Didn't have a friend at hand, but your game is so nicely polished I wanted to rate it anyway :) It is a nice compact idea and everything fits together really well. Particulary I like those spell effects, they're gorgeous. <br/>Also your tutorial was very informative, but brief, just perfect.
Aug 26 20:28:00 5m 00s Course Collision Couldn't run it: <br/> <br/>Failed to load resource: net::ERR_INSECURE_RESPONSE https://cdn.html5quintus.com/v0.2.0/quintus-all.min.js <br/>Uncaught ReferenceError: Quintus is not defined app.js:68
Aug 26 20:54:00 26m 00s Space Delver Flying is hard :D But it feels realistic, so that is a good thing. Everything looks and sounds like it should, so presentation is nice too. Solid game.
Aug 26 21:00:00 6m 00s Fourteen Really cool idea. It is like a warioware game..except with war and death :D All the minigames are fun and the pace is just right. <br/>Great!
Aug 26 21:03:00 3m 00s Telecaster Wat :D I'm confused, it is like a text adventure with planets..and something. Definitely original!
Aug 26 21:21:00 18m 00s Connectris Cool idea. It is a bit hard reading the tutorial while the game is already going, but once you get the hang of it it seems like there could be a lot of depth to this. <br/> <br/>Minimalistic visual and audio presentation do the job.
Aug 26 21:31:00 10m 00s W4 Wow, that hurt my brain. Level design is really good and I think you explore your basic mechanic very well. The control is really hard internalize, it is a matter of taste if it should be easier or not I think. <br/> <br/>One small criticism about UI design, have the prompts advance with space, since space is already used in-game, and return has no other function :)
Aug 26 21:53:00 22m 00s Psychiatric Hospital Wow that was weird. Weird game with glitchy walls and a lot of mental patients. For some reason the intro with its stoic silence and long cuts reminds me of some old cartoons :D
Aug 27 04:38:00 6h 45m Martian Sock Challenge Good base mechanic and you get into the game in seconds. Nice little game.
Aug 27 04:53:00 15m 00s Klarb Procreation Rift This game you can clearly play a lot of ways. I'm too impatient for it and just race over the edge :D <br/>Nicely done visuals and audio, and the control feels solid. <br/> <br/>Good job.
Aug 27 05:01:00 8m 00s e|merge What it says on the tin. I think at least a bit of interactivity would've been nice. Also the visuals could've been more interesting, they did get better towards the end though. Audio and writing worked very well and I feel the story was got conveyed well. <br/> <br/>Interesting.
Aug 27 05:06:00 5m 00s Coplanarity It is a good start. Basic mechanic works well with platforming and the visuals look nice. Some sound would've been nice :) But for a first LD very well done.
Aug 27 12:26:00 7h 20m The Catapult Solid oldschool rpg. Lots of content you've gotten in, very impressive. Some criticism on how walky the game is. Like for example after finding the catapult, it'd be nice if you got teleported to the village or otherwise a quicker route there.
Aug 27 13:42:00 1h 16m Travel Escape Short game. Mechanics work well and the visual presentation is nice and clean. Background music fits well in it too.
Aug 27 19:09:00 5h 27m Kit Quack Attack Really hard! Very cool graphics and sound though, something wonderfully offbeat about the whole thing.
Aug 27 19:19:00 10m 00s Crossover Survivors Really liked this one. I think it has potential for a full game. The concept is very original and fits the theme too! <br/>You also have nicelt changing visuals and music throughout the game. Great job :)
Aug 27 20:21:00 1h 02m Savior: Saver of Souls Very polished and really fun arcade game. I think it is quite challenging to do a varied an interesting single screen game, but this one uses the available space really well.
Aug 27 21:21:00 1h 00m Reminisce Really devilish and well designed puzzles. I like the graphics and there's a lot of design in the enemies and environment that gives the game a lot of personality :)
Aug 28 18:15:00 20h 54m Killbot's Last Adventure I couldn't get past the switches :D Production wise everything is really nicely polished and there's a ton of work clearly gone into this.
Aug 28 18:34:00 19m 00s Fire ze Missiles! Very nice :) Graphics look really nice and there's a lot of effort put into having different buildings and bonuses available. The audio track is also very pleasing and the sound effects are funny :) <br/> <br/>Only thing I'd change is the missile warning being displayed on top of the building descriptions :)
Aug 28 18:46:00 12m 00s Dreamonaut Firstly, very nicely done with the game. It looks and sounds like a game that had more effort than 72hrs put into it. The graphics are a bit disorientating at first, but they do look very cool. <br/> <br/>Mechnically I find it is a bit hard to estimate how to dodge projectiles and how to shoot enemies which made the game unnecesserily hard. I think you'd do well fine tuning the combat a little bit post-jam, because otherwise it is great stuff!
Aug 28 20:07:00 1h 21m Sabotage Will Set Us Free Very stylish graphics and audio in a game that has not a very subtle message :D Gameplay is a bit bland maybe, but the mood makes it worthwhile to experience.
Aug 28 20:23:00 16m 00s Quest of Untitled Very squinty screen mode for 1080p users :D Oldschool and minimalistic, I really like the style of the graphics. <br/>Also the game has a very creepy mood, which I like!
Aug 28 20:31:00 8m 00s Sunny Days Oh wow this is buggy :D But in such authentic and retro way! This game instantly transported my thoughts to NES games. I actually think the jumping physics feel kinda great if it didn't lead you softlocking the game all the time.
Aug 28 20:54:00 23m 00s Waterworld I climbed the mountain range! I had a fair bit of fun with this game, many things to do and explore. I really love how the sea and weather look in this. I think this has high potential to become something more!
Aug 29 04:57:00 8h 03m Warp Paint Very nicely done game. Played with a gamepad, and it felt really responsive and all the mechanics work really well :) <br/> <br/>The game also has a nice very mood as the result of the design and audio.
Aug 29 23:09:00 18h 12m SpaceWorlds It does happen in space and there are worlds, so everything as advertised. Gameplay I can characterize best as "being there", and the game closing itself upon game over creates a poignant end. Music is nice.
Aug 29 23:33:00 24m 00s Neo Nexus The has a cool style and despite the awkward button assignment the mechanics work well. However I got into a phone charging minigame that was just way too difficult to complete, so I couldn't get further than that :)
Aug 29 23:41:00 8m 00s The Turtle Escape First off I really like the visuals and the gameplay feel of the "alternate" world. The regular world gameplay is a bit too slow and also the hitboxes are a bit too unforgiving (you get killed by bullets you'd think wouldn't hit you). <br/> <br/>Other than that it is a solid entry and the alternate world gameplay is great :)
Aug 30 00:00:00 19m 00s Superconnected World Graphics and effects are cool, and actually feel thought out, rather than slapped on. Gameplay is a bit boring as the enemy patterns don't really get all that challenging even when the game goes on. Music would've suited this kind of game very well too.
Aug 30 00:08:00 8m 00s WORLDS 2D Really nice little game. Mechanic works well, the game sounds and looks nice. It is not even that it is too short, but that it lacks one challenging puzzle from the mix, I think. <br/> <br/>Very solid effort.
Aug 30 00:18:00 10m 00s Woopsy Deadsy By now I've played quite a few of these games where 1 level is really 2 levels. This one however is presented in a very solid manner. I like the character design and the general feel of the environments. Music and sound effects work very well too. <br/> <br/>However I do have a big gripe with the controls. Having the switch key be "up" is making this game harder than it needs to be I think :)
Sep 2 20:12:00 91h 54m WARBLE WORLDS Props for you on making the engine from scratch. Movement feels very weird as the startup to the character actually moving is quite lengthy. One also gets very easily stuck in walls (you can also traverse within walls I noticed). <br/> <br/>However the art is nice and building this from scratch is no small effort. I'm sure you learned a lot :)
