| Aug 25 09:22:00 | Saver Ghost | The game's visually quite nice, and the core idea works well. The levels get a bit daunting quite fast (I would have liked some more simple ones before going into the whole save 5 guys in one level).

Thematically it's rather light as the 'ghost' is little more than a cursor. I think it could be emphasised visually (e.g. make the levels look like mansions or other haunted places, etc). | |
| Aug 25 13:49:00 | 4h 27m | Caught Between | Nice platformer. I think the controls work quite well (except it's a bit hard to switch 'side' by jumping, it just keeps reverting back). |
| Aug 25 14:54:00 | 1h 05m | We are connected by a copper wire | I think the use of theme here is quite ingenious, and the mood is spot on. The target area around the table is sometimes quite obscure, though. |
| Aug 25 14:58:00 | 4m 00s | PhaseShift | I've never been very good at bullet hell shooter's, but I do like this one! |
| Aug 25 15:11:00 | 13m 00s | Everybody knows where the Godfather is | I like the idea, but I don't really see how it's connected (heh) to the theme. Also, the controls weren't very good, I managed to deduce the godfather, but when I pressed space there was another person already in the way. |
| Aug 25 15:18:00 | 7m 00s | schizm | Great concept and a fun (if a bit too difficult) game! My favourite so far. |
| Aug 26 14:02:00 | 22h 44m | I Think I Broke Something | I really liked the art and the music, but the difficulty is just too much. It seems nearly impossible to get to the next world. Since the portal never opens twice, why not either kill the player immediately it shuts down or give another try? |
| Aug 26 14:38:00 | 36m 00s | Dead Land | Really nice! Good mood and nice puzzles.

I think you use use lock cursor (in Screen class I think), now it's a bit annoying to constantly click out of the window.

(works fine on OS/X Maverics at least, btw) |
| Aug 26 14:45:00 | 7m 00s | Cosmic Conga | Very nice idea, I could see this developed further. The AI is killer though.

Also, right click opens the context menu in addition to cancelling a connection, I think that can be disabled somewhere in Unity. |
| Aug 26 14:54:00 | 9m 00s | The Legend of Light | Wow, really good. The art and sound fit the mood perfectly, and the gameplay ha nice twists. |
| Aug 26 15:16:00 | 22m 00s | Warlord of Connected Space | It took me a while to understand the game, but I really liked it after that. I think the idea is good and the representation is clear enough. |
| Aug 27 08:34:00 | 17h 18m | Red Entity | Really nice little shooter. The art is top notch and the gameplay works (even if it felt a bit confusing at times for me personally). |
| Aug 27 11:39:00 | 3h 05m | Milkyway Tycoon | I have to applaud for making such a complex game, great job! The learning curve is a bit steep and it's not very clear where the routes yield the best returns (and at which prices), but that's probably also because I didn't have that much time to play the game. I hope you develop this further, there's a lot of potential! |
| Aug 27 14:19:00 | 2h 40m | Polar Dash | The art is top notch! I think the gameplay would benefit from some sort of collectibles. |
| Aug 27 14:40:00 | 21m 00s | Danger Zones | Really nice puzzle game and a good use of the theme. With art I could see this becoming a great small indie puzzle game. |
| Aug 27 15:00:00 | 20m 00s | Cablage | Reminds me of Moria in the LoTR movies. Nice work on the level design (though it was a big laggy on my Mac Book Pro, in 1024x768 windowed). |
| Aug 28 07:39:00 | 16h 39m | Nexxuz | I really like the art style. I'm not much of a shmup player, but this was well made.

At one point my ship just flew out of the screen and didn't come back. No idea what happened. |
| Aug 28 11:53:00 | 4h 14m | The Scientist | Nice to hear actual (non-electronic) music in an LD game! All in all, a pretty neat puzzle game (though I got stuck quite soon). |
| Aug 28 11:59:00 | 6m 00s | Precipice | Nice control scheme, I think mouse gestures + magic is a quite good combination. Took a while to understand how to play the game, but after that it was quite fun. |
| Aug 28 12:44:00 | 45m 00s | Enduring Atlas | The only thing missing is an AI. Good work! |
| Aug 28 13:44:00 | 1h 00m | Connected Worlds Defender | Quite a good little strategy game. The controls and the mechanics are clear and intuitive. I got swarmed by the enemies quite fast, though. |
| Aug 29 13:36:00 | 23h 52m | The Journey of 92.4b-A | I like the idea and the art style is nice, but the controls need more work. |
| Aug 29 13:45:00 | 9m 00s | Dr.Saecus: Adventure in Time | While it's a nice little maze game, I think a little more variety would be welcome. Also, what's the function of the hearts in the top right corner? There wasn't anything that damages the player in the game. |
| Aug 29 14:46:00 | 1h 01m | World 255 | Nice shadow effect. The colour of the portals was a bit confusing, as the portals where you needed the tokes were purple and the free portals were yellow as were the coins. |
| Aug 29 17:18:00 | 2h 32m | PLANETOID | Took me a while to figure out the how to play (even though I read the instructions!), but it was worth a little learning. It's a really nice little game.

It would be nice to see which planets have reactors, though. |
| Aug 30 12:14:00 | 18h 56m | Disconnect Worlds | Nice variation on Scorched Earth type of gameplay. |
| Aug 30 12:29:00 | 15m 00s | Silent Sky | There should be more games with these kind of text & choice -based random elements ;) I think the game is quite well done and ambitious for an LD game, and overall very well done.

I also used Unity 4.6, and found it quite capable on the UI side. |
| Aug 31 22:03:00 | 33h 34m | Gravitous | I think the basic idea was quite original, but it was nearly impossible to go where you wanted after the first planet. |
| Aug 31 22:07:00 | 4m 00s | Data-Man | Spherical variation of Pac-Man is quite a neat idea. Like the art style too. |
| Aug 31 22:11:00 | 4m 00s | Dear Kitty | A poem game? Very well done in all respects, if a bit too short. |
| Aug 31 22:18:00 | 7m 00s | Trappy Tomb | Awesome twist on the theme! And the tomb is just as hard as it needs to be! :D |
| Aug 31 22:28:00 | 10m 00s | Matters of Perspective | I like the idea and the puzzles were nice. Sometimes it was a bit confusing to though. |
| Aug 31 22:41:00 | 13m 00s | Cohack | There's never too many hex and turn-based games in LD! Sleek art, really good idea with the tile create/remove mechanic.

One thing I was wondering about was that you seemed to use Unity 4.6, but not Unity's new GUI system? |
| Aug 31 22:44:00 | 3m 00s | unnona | The controls didn't work very well on Chrome+OS/X... |
| Aug 31 22:50:00 | 6m 00s | Star Trucker | "Connect the planets with trade routes" seems to be a genre of its own in this LD. Nice game nevertheless and very good work on the art and the mood.

The first three planets were invisible (except for their UI elements), I'm not sure if that was intentional. |
| Aug 31 23:01:00 | 11m 00s | Any Moment | I guess I just wanted to ask how important play is in Ludum Dare? |
| Aug 31 23:23:00 | 22m 00s | Crisis Culture | A visual novel in LD? That's a nice change of pace :) |
