| Dec 16 03:21:00 | Ursa Miner | The controls took some getting used to, otherwise it was pretty entertaining. I was confused as to what I was doing, but that's my fault because I didn't read the instructions. | |
| Dec 16 03:45:00 | 24m 00s | Only One World | What version of LOVE is this targeting? I extracted the .love file from the source package and couldn't get it to run on Linux. From line 346 of main.lua, I get "bad argument #5 to printf1 (string expected, got nil)" |
| Dec 16 03:52:00 | 7m 00s | The Adventures of Yogo | The JAR works fine on Linux too, just so you know. One of my biggest pet peeves in platformers is when the character stops moving horizontally while in the air if the keys are let go, but once I got over that, I enjoyed it! The controls, specifically pressing space to jump and e to glide, was kind of weird ergonomically. Good work though! |
| Dec 16 03:59:00 | 7m 00s | Earth | The difficulty increases exponentially lol. Fun little game. Good work. Runs well on Linux. |
| Dec 16 04:01:00 | 2m 00s | Collector's Quest | Us Linux users don't have the Unity Web Player, maybe you could export a native version for Linux if you get the chance! |
| Dec 16 04:06:00 | 5m 00s | The Depths of Kargron | Fun game. Collision detection could be polished up a bit, the first thing I did was knock the box a pixel or two downward on accident and had to start over. Once I got a feel for the size of the character I enjoyed it. |
| Dec 16 04:16:00 | 10m 00s | Nameko Bounce | You should consider adding some instructions. It took be a bit to figure out what I was doing, and I still think I was missing something. |
| Dec 16 04:21:00 | 5m 00s | One Orb | Ha, I really enjoyed this game. Reminds me of the scene in the original MiB when Will Smith makes that little orb bounce around on accident. |
| Dec 16 04:25:00 | 4m 00s | Dodge'n'Run | Consider uploading a standalone .love file for us Linux users! I was going to just extract it from the Windows package but the download was on track to take 12 minutes or so. |
| Dec 16 04:33:00 | 8m 00s | Showdown | Took me a while to get a grasp of it. Fun game though! |
| Dec 16 04:42:00 | 9m 00s | Clueless | Is there a visual cue for who the killer is? I tried several times but ended up just guessing several times. Interesting concept! |
| Dec 16 14:53:00 | 10h 11m | You Only Get One Gift (for christmas) | Fun game. I was really confused after the first round, because it said "To be continued" so I thought the game was over and then it said "Esc to reset" but Esc didn't do anything. Then I realized it was just a tip screen lol. |
| Dec 16 15:02:00 | 9m 00s | Love, Bullet, Minute | I don't have any idea what I was doing, but the music made it feel important and I enjoyed it. Good work. |
| Dec 16 15:12:00 | 10m 00s | One shot, One opportunity. | Works fine on Linux too just so you know. Though there didn't seem to be any way to exit the game? Had to close it through my taskbar. |
| Dec 16 15:38:00 | 26m 00s | My Old Kentucky Home | Great story, very well written. The music was a really nice touch. |
| Dec 16 15:41:00 | 3m 00s | One Fall | Nice take on the theme. I didn't make it very far lol. |
| Dec 16 16:00:00 | 19m 00s | Time Detective | Fun little text game. I messed up and got caught. |
| Dec 16 16:06:00 | 6m 00s | Loot of the Forest | The mazes were fairly easy, but they made me think/plan a little so I enjoyed it. Good work. |
| Dec 16 16:55:00 | 49m 00s | BUTTERSLIDE | Ahhhh those damn knives. Really good entry. |
| Dec 16 19:35:00 | 2h 40m | Only one Cookie | Ha, this game is awesome. I'm going to go eat cookies now, and nobody can stop me! |
| Dec 16 20:55:00 | 1h 20m | Shadow Night | I turned my mouse dpi all the way down and the sensitivity was way to high, and I was getting dizzy. From what I played, the atmosphere was great, but not sure what I was supposed to do. |
| Dec 16 22:38:00 | 1h 43m | Dinosaur Ranger Interview: Burrito Challenge SUPREME | I suck at typing apparently. Funny game. Good work. |
| Dec 16 22:47:00 | 9m 00s | Our Story | Fun game. Nice take on the theme! |
| Dec 16 23:04:00 | 17m 00s | Wifes | They kept stealing my wives! Good thing it was so easy to get a new one lol. Good work! |
| Dec 18 15:19:00 | 40h 15m | Berathen Jam | I didn't understand a couple of the games, but rest were quite fun. I enjoyed the variety. |
| Dec 18 15:30:00 | 11m 00s | Batteries Not Included | Nicely designed puzzles. I really enjoyed this. |
| Dec 18 15:40:00 | 10m 00s | SPELLBREAKER | Had I not seen your demonstration in class (I'm one of your students) I wouldn't have any idea how to play. Very well made game. |
| Dec 18 15:42:00 | 2m 00s | Tank Shooter | Fun little game. With a bit of polish it could be really good. |
| Dec 18 15:56:00 | 14m 00s | Round toe | The AI could obviously use some improvement, but overall, a nice take on tic tac toe. |
| Dec 18 16:01:00 | 5m 00s | OneWords | Actually quite challenging, with the short amount of time given. Really unique take on the theme. |
| Dec 18 18:58:00 | 2h 57m | Escape Of The Red Gem | I really liked the art style. Interesting platforming mechanics, that really made me concentrate on my timing. Good work. |
| Dec 18 19:45:00 | 47m 00s | OneChance | I didn't read your whole description first, so I didn't take a screenshot, sorry. I killed a couple people and then died. Wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do besides that. Now that I have actually read your description, this is a really interesting idea. |
| Dec 18 19:56:00 | 11m 00s | Gino | The collision detection needs some refinement, otherwise pretty entertaining. |
| Dec 18 20:01:00 | 5m 00s | Concert Crashers | I really liked the audio and the art. Good work. |
| Dec 18 20:07:00 | 6m 00s | Only one life | Pretty good work considering none of you had ever made a game before. There were a couple gaps that I literally couldn't jump over but other than that, a pretty solid attempt at procedural generation of levels. |
| Dec 18 20:15:00 | 8m 00s | Console Wars 3D | I couldn't get past the first level, and wasn't really sure why I kept losing. Do the bookshelves kill you? Anyway, nice effort, with a little extra work, this could turn into a pretty fun game I think. |
| Dec 18 20:22:00 | 7m 00s | What The Sock | Very comical take on the theme. Was extremely difficult, but I really enjoyed the graphical style and the music. |
| Dec 19 00:58:00 | 4h 36m | Extreme Curling | I also saw the flickering triangle bug on my Galaxy S II. Fun game otherwise! |
| Dec 19 14:43:00 | 13h 45m | Agent One | Fun game with a really neat art style. My only complaint is the one minute constraint. Seems like a bit of a cop out on the theme, when one life (no health regeneration) would work with the content of the game much better, IMO. Mainly, I would have just liked to have seen how long I could have lived because I was having fun! |
| Dec 19 14:56:00 | 13m 00s | Javel-ein | Really great game, and nice execution of the theme. My only complaint is that the sounds don't really fit the overall aesthetics of the game. Other than that, definitely in the top 5 entries I've played so far. |
| Dec 19 15:03:00 | 7m 00s | YOGO PATH | Have to control both characters, while they move at different speeds, was a really great idea, and made this game very challenging. The level generation could use some tweaks, as there were a couple times when it would have been impossible to beat it. |
| Dec 31 18:35:00 | 291h 32m | Unibrow | I didn't make it in time by a long shot! ha. Fun game. I really enjoyed the mini-game at the end. nice work. |
| Dec 31 18:42:00 | 7m 00s | Two Options... | Nicely done! Fun platforming, with difficult but doable levels. Ran into a few graphical glitches where after I died it would draw a ladder where my dead body was supposed to be. Otherwise a very polished entry! |
