Dec 21 05:56:00 Asshole Ducks Great entry.
Dec 21 06:07:00 11m 00s Spectrum Once I figured out what I was supposed to do, and how things worked, it was pretty fun. Visual design of the objects could have helped make it a bit more apparent what I was supposed to do, but figuring it out didn't take too much effort...
Dec 21 06:39:00 32m 00s Round toe I got excited for a second when I saw the Conway's Game of Life "glider" in your screen shot, but it's just obfuscated tictactoe where the board state is misleadingly ambiguous? I think I'll pass.
Dec 21 06:48:00 9m 00s You Will Fail What a garish digital acid trip. Too bad the gameplay wasn't on par with the graphics.
Dec 21 07:07:00 19m 00s Javel-ein This is really great. The last (?) level is impossible, but I really liked the mechanic. Come back and add sound effects and share your source, it's a well done game that deserves to show off its code:)
Dec 21 23:33:00 16h 26m Natural Sheep Care well made, but I found it to be very difficult. It's a tough economy. Liked the music.
Dec 29 06:06:00 174h 33m blomster I'd like to play this, it sounds like it was a good game. But I am getting this error when I try to run LD28_YOGO.exe after decompressing the .rar: <br/> <br/>"The program can't start because VCOMP100.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
Dec 29 06:14:00 8m 00s Pivotal Point It didn't seem to matter what I did, the same destruction would bring about a wildly different result each time.
Dec 29 18:31:00 12h 17m Powerless For some reason I'm getting the error: <br/> <br/>"Unity Web Player requires DX9 level graphics card. Make sure you have graphics card drivers installed." <br/> <br/>dxdiag.exe tells me I'm running DirectX 11...
Dec 29 19:35:00 1h 04m At The Last Minute Very good overall! <br/> <br/>For improvements: <br/> <br/>* As others have said, make the spikes stand out more. <br/>* The time should reset to clear the level if you die. It's brutal to have to restart the level after you die and have not enough time to possibly clear the level. <br/> <br/>Overall a great effort!
Dec 29 23:05:00 3h 30m A Ronin Heart Wow, this is fantastic.
Dec 29 23:07:00 2m 00s SH1P Very basic but would make for an OK casual mobile game.
Dec 29 23:29:00 22m 00s You Only Get One Arrow Unfortunately the design concept only serves to make the game tedious, going back to the very beginning to reload after each and every shot. At the very least it would have been nice to have "go through" arrows so that I could take out several enemies with one shot if I lined them up just right.
Dec 29 23:53:00 24m 00s I Can Haz One? It is teh cy00t but ai wants to hazzing moar!
Dec 30 00:21:00 28m 00s The Zombie Skull Seeking Bullet Very cool, I had a hard time controlling the bullet though:( I feel like if this were two-player, one player controlling person and one player controlling bullet, I could handle it. But trying to do both at the same time is not easy. I last about :12, and kill 2 zombies. lol.
Dec 30 05:29:00 5h 08m Afterwife Camera issues make it hard to land safely after a jump. Starting over from the very beginning of a level after dying sucks. Gliding is interesting mechanically but requires a "leap of faith" and wasn't easy to get the hang of.
Dec 30 05:52:00 23m 00s The Last Day of Mr Kane I wish I could have a little more time... oh well.
Dec 30 06:05:00 13m 00s Typo Scramble Challenging. You can't make ANY mistakes, you only get 10 seconds, and the letters moving about make it pretty difficult to spot the "wrong" letter.
Dec 30 06:16:00 11m 00s Square Invaders! If this is a compo entry, where's the source?
Dec 30 06:39:00 23m 00s th3 r00m Wow, there's a lot here and much polish. You must be very good with GameMaker to put this together in 48h.
Dec 30 07:04:00 25m 00s An Ashwick Winter I got to Day 10 but because of the window size I chose to play in, I could not proceed further because both options were out of frame. What a depressing and woeful game...
Dec 30 15:50:00 8h 46m Warp Runner No sound:( <br/> <br/>It seems there's no consequence for getting stuck on a wall, either. <br/> <br/>Keep polishing!
Dec 30 21:14:00 5h 24m Virtual Sniper Trials The web build at least was too laggy for me to play well. <br/> <br/>This reminds me of a certain multiplayer map in Unreal Tournament QUITE a lot...
Dec 30 21:27:00 13m 00s You Only Get One Chance To Save Xmas Hahaha I liked this one. Or should I say Hohoho?
Dec 30 21:49:00 22m 00s Inversionaut The words scrolling around with the rest of the background hurts their readability.
Dec 30 21:57:00 8m 00s The Black Lighthouse Pretty cool! Would have appreciated a counter so I knew how many orbs were remaining to collect. Also, it wasn't clear to me what to do with them once I had them. Bring them back to the lighthouse? Do something once I get there? I never did get all 7, but it would have been good to have some idea of how to use them once I had them.
Dec 30 22:11:00 14m 00s ACCELERally If only I could have brakes and a reverse gear... :)
Jan 1 21:52:00 47h 41m Pellet Run Well done, but also quite difficult. I don't think my trackpad is the right input device for this...
Jan 1 21:58:00 6m 00s Ninja-kun's Final Exam What are the controls? Is there an attack?
Jan 1 22:21:00 23m 00s Battle of the Orange Keep going! <br/> <br/>I found the controls and hit detection to be quite weak. It ididn't seem like the pirates did anything more than walk back and forth waiting for me to kill them -- I assume you didn't get to finish an attack mode for them. <br/> <br/>I like the graphical style. The animation is crude, but looks like a decent Atari VCS style. I did like the rising and falling of the ship -- very convincing wave-like motion. Well done there. <br/> <br/>Needs sound effects and some music to round it out. And endings.
Jan 1 22:35:00 14m 00s Dueling Simulator 2013 Played the web version... after the first round the unity web player plugin crashed. <br/> <br/>I liked the graphics, particularly the marching animations. The controls felt off. It said hold left arrow to begin duel, but it didn't do anything. So I mashed buttons and then finally they started marching. Shooting was easy, but then it crashed right after telling me I had injured my opponent.
Jan 1 23:32:00 57m 00s Ursa Miner Technically impressive but a bit too slow in my browser to play at a decent framerate.
Jan 2 00:59:00 1h 27m Epic bird fight I liked the customization artwork. Good job getting the different pieces to work together. That part was more fun than the actual game tho:)
Jan 2 01:02:00 3m 00s 1 SWORD I &lt;3 it.
Jan 2 01:15:00 13m 00s 1111 pt 1 Wow, this was brilliant. Very easy to win, unfortunately, but I really enjoyed the concept and the mathy-ness of it. One of my favorites so far.
Jan 2 04:10:00 2h 55m The Lonely One When you draw words on the screen, usually it's better to draw them so that they follow the view, rather than stick to the background. That way they can still be read while the player is moving about the room.
Jan 2 04:20:00 10m 00s The Last One You know you can just repeatedly jump in the air, and then none of the level is challenging at all? Lol.
Jan 2 04:38:00 18m 00s PLUNGE Pretty cool. Not the usual game, but I like a good choose-your-own-adventure.
Jan 2 04:57:00 19m 00s BlocknBalls Yeahhhh that is way too hard for me!
Jan 2 05:03:00 6m 00s Burnt Out Well done. I expected the ghosts and things to be more dangerous somehow -- it didn't seem like colliding with them did anything bad, except make the edges of the screen glow red. The graphical effects such as blur and lighting are superb for a web game. And I liked that the music would trigger according to what was happening in the game. Well done!
Jan 4 16:51:00 59h 48m ØNCΞ IF ØUND ΛPILL (ONCE I FOUND A PILL) I'm getting a definite Swords &amp; Sworcery vibe from this game, which is in no way a bad thing. Well done!
Jan 4 17:05:00 14m 00s Climber I got to the roof, touched one guy and he disappeared. No one else disappeared when I touched them so I figured maybe I have to take the guy I touched first down to the ground before he's "rescued"? I climbed all the way down to the bottom but nothing happened, so if I was carrying anyone, they were invisible and there was no indication of what I had done, or if I was on the right track. Make it more clear to the player what they're supposed to do and it will be a better game for it.
Jan 4 17:11:00 6m 00s One Pilot You don't get score for blowing up enemies, only for picking up the coins? Weird. Tough game. Needs sound!
Jan 4 17:29:00 18m 00s One I really enjoyed this. You captured the feeling of dreams very well.
Jan 4 17:50:00 21m 00s Shot At Glory Fun, very difficult. Might be easier if I had a stick or gamepad instead of this keyboard.
Jan 5 17:47:00 23h 57m One Glimpse of Freedom I didn't like this because it felt too unfair. Not being able to see and having to rely on memory wasn't challenging in a way that was *fun* for me. Still, it was a good experiement on a play concept.
Jan 12 01:01:00 151h 14m One Take Incredibly fun. Great, original concept for a game. I've never played anything like this. I couldn't play the game well at all using a trackpad, but with a proper mouse and scroll wheel this would be a lot of fun. One thing that I would have really liked was the director's instructions to be audible, so that I had a better understanding of when the cues were coming up for the next shot. Reading them off to the side was not as intuitive for me. Great job overall!
