| Aug 26 02:53:00 | Ten Second Clone | Smart idea! I like how the game has built-in disincentives for spamming the laser. I think it would also work pretty well in other arenas (e.g. a 2D platformer).
Music and sound are great too :) | |
| Aug 26 03:53:00 | 1h 00m | Ochre | Graphics are superb, though I was hoping from the screenshot that I'd get to rotate that thing. :) I think that I "won", but I didn't feel like there was enough confirmation of that? Although obviously this is a Zen affair so maybe you think it would be wrong to "win"... |
| Aug 28 01:06:00 | 45h 13m | Finding Love | I think the intro is much too slow... I need to be able to skip to the next line of text after I read it! :) Also, I think more people will play your game if it just comes in a zip rather than an installer. But! I did like the fight mechanic. It was pretty clever and I could see it being the basis of a big game! |
| Aug 28 01:21:00 | 15m 00s | Steven Seagal: Hard to SWAT | Wow, this game is amazing. I'm impressed you got this all done in 48 hours. The gameplay balance could use some work, and there are some bugs, but you probably already know that. I'd play a full version!
I'm feelin' the Hotline Miami in this. |
| Aug 28 01:44:00 | 23m 00s | Delayed | Phew! I beat it! This is a cute idea, though I think the game is kind of inherently flawed since there's no danger. It can get a bit confusing if you make a mistake and you're still playing out a long sequence of inputs, but all you need to do is wait for 10 seconds and then continue from that spot. It's kind of fun to try to get way ahead of the bit, though, and that's what I was doing most of the time. |
| Aug 28 01:53:00 | 9m 00s | DogRocket | Fun! :) It turns out 10+5 seconds is just about right for this, as it was stressful every time, even when I got okay at it. Initially I just didn't understand that what was connecting weren't jetpacks (they are fuel tanks), so I was pretty confused why it wouldn't fly. My high score was 1430.17m for my first reasonable balanced rocket... |
| Aug 28 01:57:00 | 4m 00s | Switch | I installed the vc11 redistributable, but still missing msvcp110d.dll? :-/ |
| Aug 28 02:02:00 | 5m 00s | TickType | Wow, trance inducing! A nice simple concept, and definitely takes a lot of concentration to do well at... |
| Aug 28 02:08:00 | 6m 00s | I Am Time Bomb | Love the graphics and sound. Seems like a pretty fun game, though I was just playing by myself so it's hard to really judge that. I felt like there was a lot of waiting given how short a round is, though... |
| Aug 28 02:13:00 | 5m 00s | Mocap Guy | Ha! This was pretty hard, mostly because I kept forgetting which hand was which. All I really needed was some kind of natural mapping for left and right hands. Liked the player silhouette doing the moves in particular :) |
| Aug 28 02:19:00 | 6m 00s | SAVE THE WORLD! | I love the graphics, especially my main character. The game itself is easy but grabbed me right away, and didn't drag. The window falling part needs some help, both because I tried to fall in the manhole but decided it wasn't working (until I came here and read your hint and tried again) and because the windows keep flying by even after the ground has passed ..? But pretty good for 48h! |
| Aug 28 02:41:00 | 22m 00s | Planet Monster | Boy, those graphics sure are good. I love the boss tellin' me how to score space golds. The game itself is super frantic, and either it's very hard or I suck at tower defense or both. But I had a great time. Your link scales the game to the browser's dimensions regardless of aspect ratio... I thought the non-square pixels were a stylistic choice at first, but now that I've resized it to a normal screen, I do think it looks better :) |
| Aug 28 02:56:00 | 15m 00s | Space Janitor: Custodial Marine | Great! Roger Wilco would be proud. :) The graphics and music are super as usual, and I thought the length was just about right (kept dying right near the end of the levels, though, which was frustrating!). When I use my jetpack vertically right next to a vertical wall, something funny happens..? |
| Aug 28 03:06:00 | 10m 00s | The Ones You Love | Wow, I really enjoyed that. The story's maybe a bit over the top, but the lesson and the way it's told are quite good. Top marks for mood! |
| Aug 28 03:08:00 | 2m 00s | Time and Shapes | My favorite thing about this one was how the moving and aiming were using the same control, which totally messed with my usual way of playing this kind of game. I didn't find myself using bullet time very much... The difficulty wasn't with everything happening too fast, but with the speed I can shoot, I think. |
| Aug 28 23:43:00 | 20h 35m | Bloody Mary | This was pretty fun and about the right length! I played through to the end. Z and X didn't work for me (couldn't jump), which was too bad cuz I like the arrows better. On the final boss I wasn't sure I was making progress... more feedback about its damage would have helped. Nice charager animations! :) |
| Aug 28 23:47:00 | 4m 00s | Hell Pizza | I wish this had been called SkullSlower-3000!
I like the music track, though the repeating jellyfish noise is kind of distracting from it. |
| Aug 31 02:32:00 | 50h 45m | Triad | Neat idea. It was tricky to figure out at first, but once I got going it was more puzzle than performance. I did think it was mostly about the shield and shotgun though... |
| Aug 31 02:54:00 | 22m 00s | Deadline | Awesome, I really liked this one. The graphical style is quite unique and daring, and definitely made up for the simple geometry. Despite initially not wanting to read all that text, I ended up getting into the story and the technobabble a little.

I accidentally killed the captain so I was expecting a sad ending, but I got promoted? |
| Aug 31 03:04:00 | 10m 00s | Rascal Ninja | I had trouble figuring out why I would sometimes restart right after getting a scroll... was I getting killed by invisible ninjas? They are indeed hard to see. But jumping around and sliding and wall-jumping is fun, and my favorite thing to do is to jump out of the level entirely and Seppuku! |
| Aug 31 03:23:00 | 19m 00s | Tunnel Vision | Loved it! The character graphics were really cute, and the game was a good length. Boss battle was fun. The stage right before that was kind of frustrating, but I did want to beat it and I was relieved that it didn't get more difficult than that. :) I did feel like the horizontal movement of the bulb should be a little higher...

Bug: If, right after falling from the socket, you let time run out instead of getting the disk, you can't play at all. I of course did this. |
| Aug 31 03:34:00 | 11m 00s | El Damned Chili | Well, I guess that was the best pooping simulator I ever played. |
| Aug 31 03:40:00 | 6m 00s | Spoken | A creative idea, and the voice acting / audio is pretty good. Playing with headphones and with the sparse visuals was surprisingly gripping. But what if, like at the game event, we're all too nervous to submit our performances? |
