Apr 29 23:13:00 Minimal Gravity This is very impressive for 16 hours. Not only is it polished all except for level transitions, it also seems like an actual game, unlike my entry.
Apr 29 23:28:00 15m 00s Something Has Changed Ok, before my review: Yayy! This is my first LD where I actually have a phone I can try out mobile games with! <br/>Now that that's done, this is pretty great! It is very minimalistic, and it is quite out of the ordinary to introduce rules with so little information about them. I can see what you mean when you say it's better on a tablet, but I played it with two thumbs on my phone and it was just fine. I can't get far enough to tell if it ever ends, though.
Apr 29 23:35:00 7m 00s A-Void The fog makes it difficult to see the obstacles until you're right about to hit them. Other than that it was good for its type, I personally didn't like it much, but that's just because I don't like this kind of game.
Apr 29 23:59:00 24m 00s Platonic Dot Solid This is great. It was impossible to ever be mad about dying when the character said "Ba-dum, ba-dum!" or "Embarrassing..." when he respawned. The graphics are also good, nice cartoony style, and the transition between shapes looked good.
Apr 30 00:07:00 8m 00s Door Great job, the color mechanic makes for some great levels! You are wayyy better than me at making levels. My only criticism is that the white doors look too much like the grey walls.
Apr 30 00:20:00 13m 00s Conversion This was great, proves the importance of audio in video games. Was I supposed to die at the end? More importantly, was I supposed to shoot everything that breathes? I'm not really sure, but I think that not quite knowing if you could have made a different choice is a good thing in games.
Apr 30 23:08:00 22h 48m QUEST SPACE A one-button turn-based RPG... You know, I actually like this better than those games that are pretty much just like this except with the illusion of free choice. At least I don't have to blame myself for dying, haha. Also, this is definitely true to the theme.
Apr 30 23:18:00 10m 00s Trial and Error This game is genuinely fun, which I definitely can't truthfully say of all of the games I've tried so far. It's not the best theme-fitting game, but the theme wasn't so good itself. It could have fit the theme Exploration really well, though - I couldn't have imagined it being this interesting to explore a small platformer level.
Apr 30 23:38:00 20m 00s You are the Minimalist This is a very interesting concept. I've seen games where you have to walk the minimum distance or something, but using "chunks" made of lines and squares is much more creative and makes me think a lot more. It could use some polish, but the concept is there, and it's good. I can imagine the algorithm to break up the level into squares and lines may have been time-consuming, as well.
May 1 00:13:00 35m 00s Stranded A nice break from pixelated, vibrantly colored, rectangular games. A bit short, though. It's nice having the game entirely stored in a JSON file, I've been modifying it a bit and I imagine mods of this game could be quite interesting.
