Dec 19 03:28:00 Mine Sneaker Overall very nice, not my type of game but it ran well, graphics are simple yet consistent, I could never get past the second level though :)
Dec 19 03:51:00 23m 00s Zzard Nice game, I was surprised (in a good way) at the objective, and I like it. However it gets old fast, and I wish I could glide along the rocks instead of having to carefully avoid them by fear of getting stuck.
Dec 19 03:52:00 1m 00s VampVille A package for Windows at least would be nice. I wanted to test it but I'm not going to install all the dependencies by hand :(
Dec 19 03:57:00 5m 00s You are the Asteroid! I liked the graphics style! As for the gameplay, it's more complicated :) I liked that it was fast-paced, and it ran smoothly here, but I didn't really know what I was doing at first. There doesn't seem to be a nice progression where you get to discover how the game plays, and I see no way of "getting good at it" unless spraying lasers all over the screen.

Overall, a good first entry, welcome to LD :)
Dec 19 04:15:00 18m 00s ECHO CHAMBER Liked it very much :) It plays smoothly, although I had a hard time figuring out where to click in the first place, but once I did, it was madness! Soundtrack/sfx fit nicesly, got hooked for a few rounds but stopped when I didn't notice a progression.

Good one!
Dec 19 04:23:00 8m 00s Hench The Bad: No relation with theme (apparently?), no running (golly I wish I could run), no sound

The Good: Plays very nicely, I enjoyed moving around, the camera/3D doesn't get in the way, and the online system where multiple people play the same levels (also with replays) is a very nice touch.

Overall, enjoyable, thumbs up!
Dec 19 04:27:00 4m 00s Rise of Evil Ha! Found a bug :) I played around, then decided to turn on moustache, but then was drowned under a sea of "no handler found for: incredibly lame pun" messages.

Or maybe that's all part of the game and it just means I've lost? :) Anyway, I loved the writing, the ascii art, and the references. Good job!
Dec 19 04:35:00 8m 00s Trois I like it! Wish there were actual graphics instead of debug lines, but otherwise, it proved to be engaging and fun :)

It reminded me of Edmund McMillen's triachnid except with completely different controls.

It was a bit surprising that the legs didn't stick to the surface but instead were gliding along - made holes much harder to cross, obviously :)

The music was very nice. Keep up the good work!
Dec 19 04:52:00 17m 00s Dark Lord Manager 2012 I. Literally. Laughed. All the way through. What an awesome game! Felt really evil, and the random actions explained a *LOT* of what you can find in other video games :D especially dungeon ones.

Great entry, thumbs up from me :)
Dec 19 04:57:00 5m 00s Holly Jolly Pyromaniac That's not fair! The game looks too good :) And I loved the music too, although it didn't loop for me so the second part of my gameplay session was musicless. How sad :(

The art reminds me of a SNES-era game, which is really good :) Otherwise, I noticed the game going faster and faster, but it would've been nice to have more variety in the game play, other actions to do (well, this is not Press Space To Win, but still), end of levels with scoreboards, something :)

But anyway: gorgeous art, congratulations. Looking forward to your next entry!

(Also: Is this powered by Haxe?)
Dec 19 05:10:00 13m 00s The goat that ate Christmas Well, it was certainly interesting :)

The physics were a bit surprising tough, but interestingly it wasn't the jump that threw me off, but more the lack of velocity when moving right/left - it made it really difficult to make precise jumps.

Otherwise, procedural level generation worked pretty nicely, I didn't get stuck anywhere.

The sounds do get a bit annoying/oppressive after a while.

Otherwise, nicely done!
Dec 19 05:15:00 5m 00s DV Plays very nicely, what this game needs is more physics! It's kinda annoying to get stuck when you touch walls.

The soundtrack was very nice, one thing that bothered me was that the theme seemed to be just coerced into the game at the end, it seemed like a typical dungeon game.

Also, I didn't understand why swords keep piling in your inventory, I never really had to use them except my starting sword (which seemed to get better as I killed enemies?)

Anyway, nice one, looking forward to your next entry!
Dec 19 05:24:00 9m 00s Bad Puppy Although simple, a very nice entry in my opinion. Loved the voice acting at the beginning :D So dramatic! Wished there was more.

Of course I wish there were more actions: how about biting? And I wished the percentage of naughtiness increased if you don't get petted for a sufficient amount of time.

I'm also sad that you had to censor the game for your friend. Back then I saw the name of your entry and thought "Yessss! Someone dares to do it." (Couldn't do it either because my teammates opposed to it..)

Anyway, good one, keep going! See you next LD :)
Jan 5 10:40:00 413h 16m Outcast (DEMO) As others said, the atmosphere is nice, although I wish there was an ambiant music as well.

I followed the directions in the description, but couldn't enter any house! Too bad, I really wanted to see the ending :(
Jan 5 10:43:00 3m 00s Overlord A nice effort! One remark though: I had trouble figuring out exactly how to play: maybe in-game instructions would have been useful. Also, the gameplay would be much smoother if there were more feedback when you do an action (loading bar when training units, attack animation, different colors for enemies).

Looking forward to your next LD entry!
Jan 5 10:52:00 9m 00s Behind Blue Pixels Nice take :) it reminded me of Touhou, although slower-paced.

It did take me about 10 tries to beat the boss, even after reading the comments and knowing there was a weak spot. In retrospect it was pretty obvious!

I really liked the simple graphics and there were lots of effects/feedback, which is good as it makes the game seem responsive!

Nice one, looking forward to your next LD entry!
Jan 5 10:58:00 6m 00s Onus Thoroughly enjoyed playing through this :)

The very very tiny resolution was an interesting choice, but it didn't deter gameplay for me, and I even managed to win!

Music / sounds were simple but effective.

Overall, a good lesson. Looking forward to your next LD entry!
Jan 5 11:09:00 11m 00s Ninox the Nightbringer Definitely enjoyed that entry!

To me, the game concept was fresh, and I appreciated it very much. Almost gave up on some levels but eventually kept going up to the level shown in the big screenshot in the description. Then, it started getting too hairy for me, and I bailed out!

Nice one, looking forward to the next one!
Jan 5 11:13:00 4m 00s Cursed I did enjoy playing through, but found that my only strategy was to run for my life :D Having arrow keys + mouse is not really convenient for playing though, WASD + mouse would've been easier.

Nice one, looking forward to your next LD entry!
Jan 5 11:16:00 3m 00s You Are The Virus Fast-paced, enjoyable, well done! Could use more feedback/effects so that the game seems more responsive though!

Also, no sound?

Anyway, nice one, looking forward to the next!
Jan 5 11:22:00 6m 00s Evil Keeper I've never seen weirder controls :) It was still fun to play though!

Looking forward to your next LD entry!
Jan 5 12:59:00 1h 37m Sealed Evil Almost a perfect rating from me!

Played all the way through - had to begin again because at some point I mistakenly hit 'Esc' and it quit, losing my game :(

The initial progression is a bit slow, but then it all depends on your upgrade choices. There's real strategy in there!

Lots of polish, loved the music, loved the sfx, loved the graphics.

What else is there to say? See you next LD!
