| Aug 28 16:44:00 | Escaparazzi | I like the way the difficulty escalates over time as a consequence of more paparazzi and more cars. It would have been nice to have some kind of score that you can play for after beating the game. | |
| Aug 28 17:00:00 | 16m 00s | City Runner | This is a great entry, although I prefer to see the goal and struggle to get to it, rather than have the goal concealed and stumble around. |
| Aug 28 17:04:00 | 4m 00s | Save the Miner! | It was a little frustrating because of the short field of view - I'd rather see the goal and race to get to it, rather than have it concealed and stumble around. Other than that, very simple and fun. |
| Aug 28 17:12:00 | 8m 00s | A tale about life, death and a looser. | It took me a while to warm up to it, but I like it. I kind of wish there were more games out there in this style. |
| Aug 28 17:18:00 | 6m 00s | Tea Powered Escape! | Kind of buggy and confusing. I still gotta respect someone who finished, though. |
| Aug 28 17:25:00 | 7m 00s | Virtual Girl | Great graphics and level design. It would have been more fun with a life bar. |
| Aug 28 17:30:00 | 5m 00s | Hell Fortress Escape | Love the graphics and level design. It would have been more fun without so many jumping puzzles, IMHO. :) |
| Aug 28 17:33:00 | 3m 00s | Caved In | More fun than I've had with most roguelikes! Would have been more fun without the fog of war effect - I'd prefer to see where I'm going, even if it's hard to get there, than to stumble around. I'd buy this if it were more complete. |
| Aug 28 17:36:00 | 3m 00s | NO ESCAPE | Not really a game, doesn't fit the theme, and doesn't belong in this compo. But I really liked, the graphics & animation and hope you make one for the next compo. |
| Aug 28 17:57:00 | 21m 00s | Prelude of the Chambered | Very cool. You did the impossible: writing clean Java code! Still trying to figure out how you did the rendering. |
| Aug 28 17:59:00 | 2m 00s | I Think In A Minute Or So I Will Explode | This was one of my favorite games of the compo. I'd buy it if it were a little more polished. |
| Aug 28 18:03:00 | 4m 00s | Escape Cod | Extremely twisted. This was one of my favorite games in the compo, by the way. |
| Aug 28 18:06:00 | 3m 00s | McPixel | A little bit like Myst where the only strategy is clicking every single pixel on the screen. But at least, unlike Myst, it's designed for short attention spans. I thought this was one of the funniest entries. |
| Aug 28 18:08:00 | 2m 00s | Rainbow Jail | This might be my favorite game of the compo. I'd buy it if it were a mobile game. |
| Aug 28 18:13:00 | 5m 00s | Slip Away | The controls were a little too buggy to be fun on my machine. I love the artwork, it kind of reminds me of Splatterhouse. |
| Aug 31 22:34:00 | 76h 21m | The Cell | I could have used some instructions ("press space to replicate" isn't enough). Other than that, this is one of the best entries. Also appreciated having the source code, as I used Slick for my entry as well! |
| Aug 31 22:45:00 | 11m 00s | The Island | Very ambitious for a 48 hour compo. I have a similar project so I know how tough it is to complete this. I found it slow and confusing in the beginning, but the graphics were really clear and functional, and I like the feedback on the AI state of the sailors. |
| Aug 31 22:49:00 | 4m 00s | Freeway escape | I like that the controls and gameplay are simple and straightforward. Also, the non-standard screen size was a nice touch. |
| Aug 31 22:54:00 | 5m 00s | Escape from Monster City | This might be my favorite entry. I love the simple gameplay and controls, and the fact that the light is an actual gameplay element (not just atmosphere). |
