| Dec 20 04:15:00 | The Complex | The story seemed like it was off to a good start, but it ends abruptly as noted. Game-wise it's obviously incomplete, but engine-wise it seems pretty solid other than some noticeable slowdowns in certain areas. | |
| Dec 20 04:26:00 | 11m 00s | Ancient Discoveries | I could tell straight away that there might be a little inspiration from the mining minigame in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl? Either way, I really liked the characters and story. Definitely an interesting game. |
| Dec 20 04:32:00 | 6m 00s | Land of the Fishies | I could see this being a very enjoyable adventure when it's finished. The music is awesome. |
| Dec 20 04:51:00 | 19m 00s | Lost Races' Abandoned Artifact Recovery | Interesting idea but doesn't have a lot of expansion after it is introduced to the player, therefore becomes a bit grindey and bland. The weird voices creeped me out though. |
| Dec 20 05:07:00 | 16m 00s | Aquatic | For losing power on one day, you sure did something pretty impressive. |
| Dec 20 05:20:00 | 13m 00s | 1958 BNL | The music. It's amazing. |
| Dec 20 05:25:00 | 5m 00s | Planet 53 | Incomplete, and frame rate makes the controls feel rather wonky. Sprites are well done. Could hardly understand the implication of "discovery" unfortunately. |
| Jan 9 23:23:00 | 497h 58m | Cardboard adventure | Catching the bunny with a plunger was amusing, but nothing else is worth mentioning much. Ran well in Chrome, props for doing a purely JavaScript game. |
| Jan 9 23:31:00 | 8m 00s | DISCovery | Not terribly inventive (lol mastermind) but a solid remake. I didn't get any sort of "discovery" feel from it, but the pixely, basic shapes fit the "cracking" well. Something I'd probably pick up and play if I was bored in an office setting. |
| Jan 9 23:41:00 | 10m 00s | Zonar | An interesting idea, and what I could play of it was alright, but it was frustratingly buggy and crashed before I could complete any of it.

Played the compo version on Windows. |
| Jan 9 23:53:00 | 12m 00s | Mothership | While the compo version definitely doesn't feel like a complete game yet, it has some great ideas that I'm sure would be much better when polished. The little ambient music when you land should probably loop, but what plays is a very nice touch. I couldn't figure out how to repair the mothership, so maybe making the dialogs a bit more intuitive would make it more obvious. Graphics were a little too basic, especially the laser effect - I couldn't tell I was shooting a laser unless I thought about the light position. Finally, a minor glitch, the mouse would not lock to the game window and hide itself so I couldn't turn a lot.

It felt like there was a lot of plot development that was planned, so I was compelled to imagine what that would be like, making it a bit more of just what it was. Excellent ideas all around, just needs more polish. |
| Jan 9 23:58:00 | 5m 00s | Explosive Transcendental Circulatory System | I remember seeing your posts all throughout the compo and thinking, "man I hope I get to rate that game."

And oh wow. Besides not being able to understand what the heck I was doing, this was great. Trippy and fascinating, it almost feels like you're thinking deep about the images you're seeing and you discover something about YOURSELF - how amused you are by this combination of just plain weird things! |
| Jan 10 00:04:00 | 6m 00s | Soundman Stepper | Confusing at first, very enjoyable after that. The music made it very compelling to play. |
| Jan 10 00:13:00 | 9m 00s | Espial | This is a game that I would absolutely love for my DS or, if I had one, a touch phone. |
| Jan 10 00:17:00 | 4m 00s | Stripes | Not much to say here. It's really basic, and doesn't have much of a difference in each of the objects you find. |
| Jan 11 00:19:00 | 24h 02m | HOMMage | Noticeably incomplete, but what was there seemed pretty solid. I remember playing the HOM games when I was younger, so this is a little nostalgic to me. |
| Jan 11 00:23:00 | 4m 00s | BEARoNAUT | Unable to play without Unity Web Player, and not willing to install the plugin. Sorry. Looks good though. |
| Jan 11 00:28:00 | 5m 00s | Disco?Very! | Not terribly inventive, but brilliantly catchy. |
