I was curious about the dialogue, 'cause of the other comments...i'm not disappointed xD Fun little adventure with a funny story indeed.

Interesting idea, nice clean art and quite addictive ngl xD
"OH NO!" had me XD Love the artstyle and the food options you came up with. Some characters of the font are hard to read in the web version, but it was fun nonetheless.
Heya! That’s a really nice and cute game, especially for a first jam entry. The theme fits well, and the movement already feels pretty solid as a starting point.
Here’s a bit of feedback that might help for future updates or projects:
- Audio cues: It’d be great to have more sound effects for the bomb. I died a few times because nothing happened, and I thought I had to kick it to make it explode. A clear audio cue would help a lot!
- Character polish: The skelly boi isn’t 100% clean. There are a few stray pixels in the animation that stand out a bit. Cleaning those up would make it look even better.
- Visual clarity: Making buttons and tiles more distinguishable would help with readability. It could be nice if the tiles looked a bit more like the ground/bottom ones for consistency.
- Level design: The level design feels a bit rough at times (as others mentioned), but that’s totally normal! You’ll get better at it with more time and experience.
Overall, you can absolutely be proud of this as a first jam game. It’s playable, fits the theme, and is genuinely fun to play!
