LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

My God, That's Delicious! by erikiene 2018-12-19T22:11:40Z

Despite having assigned villagers to buildings, I've been unable to determine how to actually gather ingredients from them, and the "How To" menu item doesn't seem to function so I'm unable to make any progress beyond just building stuff. The audio and visuals are nice, though!

Ritual of the Seeds by haharo 2018-12-31T17:29:37Z

I like the concept and the art style is nice but it seems a little too easy? I managed to get to wave 30 without sacrificing or buying any new zombies (other than a couple at the start when I was trying stuff out). It's possible that this changes with later waves though, in which case it could maybe benefit from a steeper difficulty curve.

James and The Dungeon Conundrum by Unevenmetalic Prankster 2018-12-19T19:49:16Z

This seems like a solid start. It's hard to know what to suggest given the unfinished state of the game, but one thing I feel would be beneficial is some kind of incentive for picking up and dragging around all those heaps of gold - perhaps some sort of shop or bartering mechanic?

Minister Prime Time by Gamer Squids 2018-12-19T21:42:30Z

I like the concept, but I was confused by how the platforms seem to appear at predetermined locations rather than at/above the position each robot is sacrificed at. I also noticed a few bugs: - It is possible to move off-screen to the left and right and become unable to re-enter the scene. This does not trigger a sacrifice or game over, meaning the level has to be restarted. - The player characters get stuck when jumping against the sides of platforms. - Sometimes when switching control to Minister Prime, I also take control of a robot at the same time.

With polish, I think this could become something quite interesting. Keep it up!

Pixel Rot by MemoryLeek 2018-12-31T18:30:27Z

Really nice game, and especially impressive given the tools used. My only real complaints are that the enemies are a pain to hit and that I had to download tmxlite and SFML separately to get the Linux version running. Nice work!
