LD46 — Keep it alive

the Early Worm by alec 2020-04-21T22:20:11Z

Really fun concept! Enjoyed it a lot!

Commodore Commander by Alex_ADEdge 2020-04-23T02:32:08Z

Love the idea! Wish you could run batches of commands at once in a sequence - like "move 3, tur r, fire" in the first encounter. Even coding topics like GOTO would be a neat mechanic (set up your tank as a turret! Have multiple tanks move on determined paths!) Would be awesome to plan maneuvers in advance and watch them get executed. That'd go a long way to making it play a bit quicker. I'd like to see a multiplayer version of this! Visuals and atmosphere is also on point, and the commodore console is surprisingly authentic - super impressed!

Mut-ant by ketura 2020-04-21T23:16:48Z

Game is initially confusing, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty interesting! I enjoy the card-based gameplay and the idea of upgrading the individual parts of the queen. I'd like the game to move a bit slower so that I could see Anita fighting, I feel like I'm in such a rush to heal parts I don't really get to watch her fight! Additionally, on one playthrough I seemed to have a part and a gene in the infuse slots but could not bless them together, so I was stuck with basic parts until I died. I never got to see what upgraded parts are like!

Green Dream by Trusty 2020-04-21T16:24:29Z

Gameplay wasn't very well explained so the first few minutes were just trying to interact with things, but once you understand the mechanics it's pretty fun juggling the plant growth, and I like the time of day shadow mechanic! I think it would have been easier to play if you could use your mouse to activate the tools as well, instead of switching tools with keyboard. I'd love to see a bigger and better version of this!

DiscoPuzzle Flooring Inc. by Marxy 37 2020-04-21T16:35:15Z

Fun puzzle game concept! I wish there was a legend or an easier way visually to identify which colors can connect with others without trial and error (on selecting a piece, highlight the ones it can connect to maybe?). Tiles that could affect others would be a cool additional mechanic as well!

Keeper Of Light by JonhG 2020-04-21T16:00:32Z

I seem to get stuck in a phase a lot where the ball is always out on my hand and I can no longer send a beam, and the "ghosts" don't seem to be affected by any of my moves. That being said, I like the atmosphere a lot and the mechanic of the length of your charge affecting the action performed is a rerally neat idea. I especially like using the balls themselves just as a light source to explore

Keep IT-Support Alive! by debuggerpls 2020-04-21T16:42:17Z

Fun concept, congrats on your first Ludum Dare! I love the multiple unique sentences for each interaction. I'm not sure how to pass the manager though, so I'll never see the top floor! It'd be cool if the characters moved from floor to floor, and either the elevators could go to more than one floor or there was a way to get around them
