LD30 — Connected Worlds (2)

Transmission by ljdp 2014-09-12T17:25:00

Thank you. cool game !
4 suggestions to make it more fun :
- More realistic orbits (the further from the planet, the slower it orbits. The heavier the planet, the quicker the satellites has to orbit.)
- Planets rotating around themselves. So we could try to set satellites in geostationary position
- When placing a satellite close to another satellite orbit, it could automatically set on the same orbit (so the orbit at the same speed)
- Same with the geostationnary orbit

Hello,
That was an interresting game, and I pleased to see that you want to keep developping it.

But as most other people commenting here, the lack of info made it really difficult to understand at first. However, with some time and the help of the extra info on your website, I managed to understand most of it.

Some help for other players :
Each planet has 5 characteristics :
- Max link distance
- Military power (in red)
- Production of 3 different goods (yellow, green, purple)

There is also a global valeu for your empire : the max link number.

You own the bleu planets (2 at the beginning), and the target is to conquer the red ones.
Red planets are conquered through linking them to strong enough planets (with high red value in "ressource"), to do that you need to upgrade your planets.

(more later on production and ressources)

LD27 — 10 Seconds (2)

Zombie Pop! by nthird 2013-09-09T11:39:00

Good idea. But I fell that I would enjoy it better if it was turn based (1 second : red dot move one step forward)

If we could links between rockets and weight, that would be perfect !

LD26 — Minimalism (3)

Too Few by egor-idiot 2013-05-30T19:22:00

Too bad that I couldn't vote and that I only spotted it today. It is definitely the best incarnation I have seen of the "minimalism" theme, yet every important action game elements are there.

Very well done, and thank you for that experience !

Root Route! by netpro2k 2013-05-21T14:51:00

Apparently, it can't be played anymore...

Mind the Gap by shiprib 2013-05-21T14:30:00

Oh yes ! Please continue to develop it !
I agree with the need of a pausing button, modifying a line without crushing everything, and circular line...
Other interesting features could :
- Data display (number of passengers per bits of line, number of passengers transiting through a station, number of passenger arriving at a station). The screen could for example turn into a grey mode when displaying data : darker/thicker means more people
- Displaying correctly twin lines (when too are at the same place)
