LD47 — Stuck in a loop

The idea is good. It is easy to understand, but difficult to master. Nice choice of effects and models as well. You can cheat easily by doing endless barrel rolls near the obstacles, though.

Alright, first up is the story (I like them, stories =-)

The story is short, but has been directly reflected in the game and the gameplay. That's a large plus from me =)

Next one is about the gameplay and mechanics. The keys to use are clear, but you missed the part about rotating the ship. And that's important.

Mechanics themselves are very polished: I didn't find a single bug (although I tested it for a short time). That's a huge plus as well. The movement in the game can be controlled with a few buttons, but it is a bit more difficult to master (although it won't take long) and that's a good thing =)

Graphics: good. I would like to see the forward point (nose) of the ship more clearly. But the all the graphics are well-made (although, sometimes - simple) and to the point (reflect the theme of the game).

Theme: reflected quite well and directly in this game.

In short: a nice arcade game to try in your free time.

Well, there are few things I would like to comment on.

First one is that this is a racing game and the track seems to be rather long and completed. That's definetely a big plus.

The mechanics for controlling the car work and you can master them by trying, making mistakes and repeating this loop again =) That's also a good point. It means you need some skills to compete in this game.

The addition of the pick-up obstacles and power ups are making the game more random and interesting. You have to pay attention to that during the race.

It also has a nice option to play it with bots or with friends on the same computer.

The bots move well as well.

When you start playing you get enough information about the controls, like "Space" to use the picked up item and "R" to return your car to the road.

Next are a few somewhat less positive things.

I couldn't finish the race, because the bot was stuck at the first lap (round). My guess is that it is related to the colliders issue (always a a problem with Unity).

The car was stuck for some time, due to falling through the road after pressing "R" at a certain checkpoint (was a checkpoint off the mountain). Probably Unity colliders playing a bad joke again.

The last one is less important for some people (and definetely not important for the gameplay), but I don't see how the story is linked with the game itself. Except for the computer, which is a nice touch to the game =).

In general: a decent game for the amount of time provided and participating people =)

Nice puzzle game!

Mechanics and controls are easy to understand and I haven't found any bugs (yet =P). I'd suggest higlighting/showing which object you are dragging more profusely. The wall teleporter object/tool is not very eye catching (took me some time to realize that it's not a bug and I CAN place it somewhere).

Mood is nicely set up by a simple but not annoying background music, which is a good match to the futuristic laser puzzle game =)

The puzzles were decent, but I'd add a few more levels to make the transition easier for players who are not experienced with puzzles (example: just a single wall teleporter at first).

The models of the walls and the floor background were a bit simple, but they all match in style, so it's definitely ok as well.

All in all - I had some fun, thanks!
