Loved the game. The gameplay, though simple, never managed to get boring or repetitive. The one-bit graphics alongside the banger soundtrack are however the main focus, I find. I do wonder how the theme is exactly suppose to relate to the gameplay ( maybe the shadow behind the player was meant to mean limited view space? ). But nonetheless, the game managed to be above all: really fun!
Loved the premise and idea, really addicting. The kill-chain/combo mechanic really was a great motivator for me to be fast and efficient. However, as someone who isn't used to these controls it was a bit hard to get used to them. And also, I did notice that occasionally one of the red moths wouldn't spawn for ages, leading me to get pushed into the hole without a way to stop it. Though it was still a great time ( high score was 900 only though lol )
Liked it! Initially it was easy, but as soon as the lasers and catapult came in it pretty much destroyed any thoughts of this being easy; blocking me in such a limited space that is. I do wish though that there were a way to not get stuck and instead keep playing the game infinitely ( also really good soundtrack !! )
The game felt very backrooms-esque, which is always cool. Gameplay was pretty boring though, wish there could've been something more to do ( considering at least the size of the physical game world ). But it was pretty moody, and also I don't think I've ever seen a roblox game submitted to a game jam before lol
This game was really cool, the graphics and audio design were truly beautiful. I loved lining up a bunch of the enemies in a single line and then just slashing them all at once, very satisfying. Controls did feel a bit clunky at times but I got used to it. A really great game!
I do really like the gameplay loop, it's simple but definitely effective. The story itself is probably the main point of interest, it's written well and explained pretty clearly. It does however feel like there's something missing at the end, specifically the " The Battle Of 'Good' VS. 'Evil' Begins " where it seems ( at least for me ) the game completely stopped. Is it suppose to be an ending? Or just a glitch? Anyways, really liked the mood of this one!
