trippy!
the game boy mechanic (and the idea) is really cool! combined with the artstyle they are making it so much more fun
This was cool! I love the character design.
I was really surprised by the clever mechanic of the game, here's a video of me playing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOz371igNcE Good game, well done!
Next up, a game within a game within a game.. :D Very cool concept!
The AR mechanic was really cool! Getting something like this working in 3 days, solo, is super impressive. I was sad that there weren't more levels, but I can sorta see why given the complexity (consider it a compliment in any case).
I really liked the pixel art! The 3D assets were good, but the 2D stuff definitely stood out.
One thing I'll say is that I had a hard time working out whether the Z position of the witch was in line with the enemies, especially the floating ones. There were a few times I tried hitting a floating enemy only to realize that I was a little off. It also made it difficult to tell how close I was to falling off the edge of an object, especially a real-world one. I wish I had a good suggestion for an improvement... the existing drop shadow *should* have worked, and I'm not sure why it didn't. It honestly could just be a me thing.
This was a super innovative entry, very cool :)
Cool game, I love the concept with using the 3d environment around you for the platformer of the gameboy, it's really unique and innovative. The graphics are good as well as the audio. The only thing I'd add is that there was a lot of different controls that I had to keep switching between, perhaps both the gameboy character's movement and the player's could share WASD and you just use a key to toggle between them? Also side note I love how after you sit there not doing anything for a bit the gameboy game checks in on you and gives you a hint, it's a nice touch.
Really cool use of stencil buffering, I couldn't figure out how to get past one of the levels but I really enjoyed the ones I played.
So, you have done a greate work, dude! It was interesting expirience. There are a good juicy input, very nice shaders, 2.5d. That's a lot of work! Thanks for this amazing game.
(If you want to upgrade game with less effort, you need to change sfxs)
all levels cleared, no more dust !! fun game, clever gameplay !
Was a bit confused at first, faced a tiny bug with the controls, but overall loved the idea!
