Very interesting explorer. Reminds me of some of my own unity games from back in the early days. Love it. Inspiring even!
The little guy was really cute, and I liked the idea. That said, I would have made this a lot smaller, the traversal became frustrating after several failed attempts.
The world's perspective is really cool. Try to work on making the controls feel smoother next time—congratulations!
An interesting game!
~ Positive aspect: + The gravity mechanic is REALLY cool! It feels genuinely fun to walk around the cylinder and jump across platforms as if you’re in zero gravity. Props for that! + The little astronaut is adorable, aww! :3
~ Questions or strange decisions:
- I felt a bit strange moving around the map. Like I’d hit my head really hard or had too much to drink. The platforms seemed to drift before my eyes. it’s an inexplicable feeling...
~ Didn’t like:
- The game feels a bit empty; the objects could use some textures. I know it’s low-poly, but right now it looks rather dull.
- There’s a gap where you can fall right through the map.
- The moving platforms are slippery. I fell off a couple of times because of them.
Still, it was fun! :]
This was fun! Moving around was a bit disorienting, which seemed like what you were going for? The audio worked really well, despite being pretty simple.
