A really thoughtful game design: enemies swans with anticipation and all indication is spot on. It's a bummer that this cool mechanic with a crank-shaft reloading have such a dull sound, I expected something mechanical like trrrrrrr. 😆
Overall, good job!

Cool reloading concept! There was a lot to process in small amount of time so I didn't really understand all the mechanics. Maybe reveal the mechanics one at a time to also make the game longer.

@koala585 Yeah, you're right—I extended the time to 2 minutes and added guides for the remaining mechanics.

Really interesting concept! I like how the weapon maintenance mechanics fit the OLD TECH theme. Having to reload manually, clear jams, and manage overheating adds a unique layer of tension. The mechanics could be introduced a little more gradually, but overall it's a creative idea with a lot of potential. Great work!

hey this game is really cool. took me a second to get the hang of the reload but i would be interested to see it as part of a bigger game. good art style too!

@z1biks Nice! As others said it would also be cool to see this concept as part of a bigger game! Good luck in the jam!
The tutorial was very good and needed I'm glad it was there. It's a tough game! I got 42 drones before I got overwhelmed and not being able to keep up. Neat ideal well executed. I think the mechanics made me feel what and how they intended to make the player feel and I total see the link to the theme. I think the only critique / constructive feedback: sometimes enemies will spawn such that when they get close to the gun, they are too close to shoot, so even if you reload fast enough it's too late to stop those ones. Overall, excellent entry!
The visual style is amazing and unique.

The visuals are very good, the mechanics are interesting, and the execution is great.

So boring, but keep going!
That crank mechanic is awesome, love this! Great job on the visuals as well.
Really thoughtful design - the enemy swans’ anticipation and attack indicators are spot on, and the crank-shaft reloading is a great fit for the OLD TECH theme. Manual reloading, clearing jams, and managing overheating add a nice layer of tension, and the tutorial is genuinely needed and well done. I also love the unique visual style.
My main gripes: the crank reload sound is a bit dull - I expected something mechanical like trrrrrrr - and there’s a lot to process in a short time, so introducing the mechanics more gradually would help (and naturally make the game longer). I also had enemies spawn so close to the gun that they were too close to shoot, which felt unfair even with a fast reload. Still, a tough, creative, well-executed entry - I’d love to see this concept expanded into a bigger game

The interactions for reloading and fixing the gun worked really well with the theme. Sometimes these interactions feel janky but in this case it worked for the interaction with the old tech. I got to learn the moves and it got easier with time. Also, the balancing was very good for me.

The art is really well drawn, I like the overall look of the game a lot. Reloading was quite hard for me, it took a while to get the hang of it

The gameplay is simple yet addictive, and the graphics are pleasing to the eye with a nostalgic Flash game vibe

Gameplay is clear and straightforward—fully got the hang of it by my third run. Really felt the lack of upgrades, though. It was pretty annoying when the mouse slipped during reload right when it was almost finished haha. The art is very detailed and polished; everything is intuitive just by how it's drawn, lots of great attention to detail. Enemy design really caught my eye too—super fun to break them down and see their differences!

Doing circles with the mouse made me aggressive somehow.
Great game! I really liked the pixel art. The weapon reloading mechanic is very original, though I did find it quite difficult to reload and then immediately aim at the enemies. The timing of the waves feels right, but I think the screen area should be larger so that enemies can be spotted sooner. Alternatively, you could assign hotkeys for reloading and other actions, leaving the mouse free for aiming. Congratulations, well done!
