For future projects, try to include a web version so more people can play your game. In this case, there are no screenshots, no web build, and no versions for other platforms. Good luck!

Listening to Chef Ramsey was pretty funny. Though for some reason, I couldn't figure out the cat's clue, so the answer sheet was good for that. The braille translation puzzles were my favourite. The ending was satisfying.

The overall experience was really good. I could always actually see where I needed to go. The sound bites were entertaining. The puzzles were pretty easy, but I still had to think about it.

@akihirof I wish i knew how to do all of that. Since it was my first jam I had alot of trouble uploading the game!

But Ill try to make sure Ill figure out how to do all that. Thanks for the feedback! :)

The best way to end a game is to let me jump into the void. Bravo.

I wouldn't say that web version is mandatory. People who want to try out your game will do that no matter if you have or don't have a web version. And people who just want to rack in as many ratings as possible, pretending they care about the hackathon spirit aren't your target audience as a game developer anyway. And it's not even taken in consideration that sometimes it's a little bit tricky and problematic to work with WebGL or whatever web engine you will be working with, so I would say focus on making the game. Porting games to other platforms, especially web, is optional and if I remember correctly it's allowed to be done after the jam submission window, so you can add web version anytime if you wish to do so or you find a way to do so. But even without it don't sweat if you can't actually produce a web version.

What would make it more presentable, however, are screenshots. At least presenting your game to prepare what player can expect when they download or open your game. With that, I have to agree. :)

Now enough with meta. Let's talk about game. After playing it I kinda see why you can't actually place that many screenshots, but I still think that a basic screenshot would be great to have. But even so, I actually liked it. It's a very simple and yet quite interesting. I like that you left 1% of vision, I was able to navigate through the place by seeing the faint silhouette of cubes! I would made it so the popup window would close on Escape but that's just a nitpick.

That's a very great entry and I really liked it. I especially laughed at chef Ramsay, that's my favorite cube. :joy:

P.S. You can also hide the spoiler with prefixing the line with `!>`

@0x0961h Thank you so much!

I just tried uploading a screenshot but It didnt let me?? I assume its because I already published the game.

Anyway yeah the escape is for sure a good idea. I made the interact system in the beginning and didnt think it fully through so definitely improveable! :)

I appreciate your feedback alot! Thanks !!!

@desi It might be a little tricky, but to add them, edit the page, upload them (the button is under the edit field), then save, then press done. Maybe you forgot to press done and the page was not updated.

That is a masterpiece)) Thanks)

Curious little game, my biggest suggestion is having the "interact" button be a toggle instead of having to walk away from the thing. It was especially annoying when I was exploring at first thinking I was stuck.

The puzzles were fine, not too hard, also I genuinely thought the colours in that puzzle with the braille would mean something.

The writing in the game was good for a short jam game.

A neat game that I enjoyed! I liked the different types of riddles that had a mostly integrated theme with each other. Hearing the sounds from boxes was funny and novel, though I would have liked if the sounds themselves were a part of the puzzle solving process. The ending was nice too, I found the secret slope in the back.

2026-04-23 02:00

I don't know if my dynamics are bad or is there not too many sounds but I would kinda want to hear steps on different materials to understand that your are doing anything. At this point I'm just following the green things

kanity 2026-04-23 12:53

Well that was confusing for sure, but ofc it was, I am supposed to be 99% blind!

At first I thought it was 2D and couldn't make out what to do at all. Then got the hang of the world and started exploring the boxes.

I wish there was a way to make the question box disappear without moving away: like pressing E again, for example. It lingers for a while which is a bit frustrating. Maybe that was another way to disorient the player, but I think it would be better to be able to close it. I don't have any answers in the beginning, and the window just staying there made me think at first I HAVE to answer right away, which made me go check the hints under the SPOILERS. (That was a Funky Music signal, I stumbled upon it by accident while still thinking the game is 2D xD)

That turned out to hold the answer to the very last box, so I've accidentally speedrun the game (cheated, you can say) :')

The ending is really lovely tho!! Very sweet and encouraging, thank you ^v^/

Overall - very cool concept. I checked out all the boxes anyway ofc. Fits the theme in my opinion, feels unique and original. Good job!!

desi 2026-04-23 14:59

@kanity I fully understand the confusion. I unfortunately made the interaction system in the beginning and didnt think it through at all. After I had no time to change it but I 100% agree that is confusing and something ill improve on in the next jam. Anyway thanks for the feedback though! <3 :)

kanity 2026-04-23 15:06

@desi Sure, good luck next jam too ^^

Funny game with a good sense of humor and a nice message. The gameplay side has room for improvements. Still had fun, keep it up!
