Really fun game, classic tower defense that's very straightforward. Only complaint is that the controls don't feel that good. But it's satisfying to play

Fun little tower defense game, took me way too long to realize that i could use my function keys to quick buy, a little text ingame would have been great. Good Job!

Really creative way to use the unbalance of game for highscore and having a high scoreboard!

I had also switch tabs to look up if you could key the towers since there was so much money. (reading long instructions is boring :D) Maybe just small text of the key at the buy button would have made this easier.

This was nice, i like the tons of effects happening so that i cant even see wtf the rockets are hitting without zooming it. As stated the balance is off but its nice that its too easy rather than too hard, and min maxing the for highscore well would require couple of tries.

I like the effects audio with some kind of neon style music would have elevated it realy nicely, since the colourscape is evokes that kind of feeling.

Nice entry!

At first I struggled quite a lot, as I was buying the laser towers. When switching to rocket towers it suddenly got quite easy. Mostly I could build rocket towers as fast as I could click. Which indicates a bit more work in terms of balancing.

Nevertheless I still had fun playing and watching hundreds of rockets annihilating all enemies after a few steps.

Also I could see some electronic music going nicely with it.

I really like the aesthetics and the mechanics work, but I think part of the issue with balance is that towers seems to have very large range, especially the rocket ones, so that you can seemingly place them anywhere. That also reduces the strategy involved and it becomes a game of spamming towers. Which was sort of interesting in its own right, I wanted to see how much I could push the game and it turns out my pc starting to lag was the real limit.

With that said I still had enough interest to complete the game twice, so y'know, it did something right. Cool looking effects as well.

Cool tower defence game, reminded me of Tron. Ran really smooth even though there was lots going on in the scene, nice work, enjoyed that.

I like the neon style and it's fun to play, if a bit simple. As the other comments have mentioned, the rockets are a bit OP  - they have infinite range and perfect accuracy. One little tweak that would go a long way is keep the rocket's range and damage the same, but nerf the targeting ability where it misses fast moving enemies. That way, you have to put down more stun mines to control the flow of enemies. Additionally, you could add a "shield" to certain enemies which can only be depleted by the laser turret - so if the rocket hits, unless the shield is fully depleted, the rocket won't do any damage. For added challenge you could make it so the shields regenerate after a period of inactivity/not taking any hits, and add a power/energy mechanic where you have to physically place powerplants to power your turrets.

I think rather than having simply more enemies, the enemies could have different behaviors or resistances - so rather than having to just spam lots of turrets, you have to put down the right combinations of turrets to counter the enemies.

But hey it's a jam game - there's only so many features you can cram into it in 72 hours

I liked playing it - Nicely done!

Nice entry! with a little more balancing and extra content and endless mode this could be a great game

wuk 2025-04-14 13:45

Guys, you are all correct about the balancing, but remember it's about getting as high as possible on the high-score, which you won't if you spam rocket towers all over. Thanks for the feedback so far.

Pretty cool really smooth feel.

Overall a fine little tower defense game.

Pretty cool tower defense game! One thing that I'd like to see added is the ability to build more than one turret at a time when holding shift - the F1-F3 keys do help with that a bit, but still it would be better to not have to spam them. Pretty decent sounds, and together with the graphics they form a pretty fun aesthetic. Nice work on the rocket launch animation, looks really cool to me! :D
