I liked the mood of the game. It gave a great creepy feeling with that music in the background.

Really liking the mood that the adaptive music system delivers alongside the limited visuals. Quite the tense horror for such simple graphics. Or as some game reviewers would say: it really makes you FEEL like the worm!
Would have liked to have some strategies on how to deal with the different predator types. Right now it's always just "as soon as you see the tremor, turn the other way and hope that your turn radius and speed suffice".
I managed to get a score of 300 in the end.
The sound design is really good, keeps you on edge as you're wiggling around. Great game, I got 490!
I like the idea of limited camera area, really gives a sense of danger and exciting! Nice job!
thanks all for your comments !
@yaen the bird does give some audio clues (but their meaning is not intuitive enough), and the mole was meant to give you a chance to dodge but in the end we didn't want to spend too much time tweaking AI behavior, so yeah most of the time the strategy is run away at tremors and hope for the best...
Great vibe and suspense with the focus on the audio ques. I would have liked a bit more direction besides just collecting orbs. I think i got lucky and didnt run into any threats till around 400 points and the mole showed up. If I'm honest I wasnt quite sure what to do the situation, reading other comments it seems like I should have just done a 180 so maybe include a bit of a tutorial in the future.
great game! the controls are smooth and responsive, the mechanics is easy to understand and the gameplay is immersive, the suspenseful atmosphere of being detected and pecked and the unknown dangers of limited vision gives a good action /arcade vibe. This has good replay value. Overall I enjoyed playing this one! congratulations! keep it up!
I didn't think the life of a glass of earth could be so terrifying. The music that fits the situation is really cool.
It sounds a bit like what I wanted to do for my game although I ended up going in a completely different direction along the way.
I love me some Godot!
The idea is not really original, but it's a nice game. I wasn't able to see ants or birds. I only saw moles and unpredictable earthquakes.
It's hard to anticipate avoiding enemies, because the vision range is really short. So, we have the feeling that when we die, it's just because of bad luck.
