Fun little game! My only wishes would be faster AI (they also seem to go offtrack and sometimes through walls) as well as maybe some reason like traction to not just hold forward and tap the turn buttons. The map was really beautiful and the characters are charming in their design, I really like the fish with cigarettes in his gills!
Completely love your character designs! Loading into the game I instantly got a huge grin when I saw the characters, ended up going with the fish, and jumped in - and I got to say great job with the Audio, the tune was awesome and it just felt good to play - despite being such a simple premise and game mechanically. One important question I have though, Was the engine sound made from a human mouth? XD
@budster16 Thank you! Getting the AI to drive well was a challenge. And yes, with more time we would have liked to add a drift mechanic. Glad you liked the characters!

Great character designs! I fell in love with the great cigarette and had to play them. I managed to get miles ahead of the AI, but overall I was just vibing to the great music well steering my cigarette smoking fish, one for each gill!
This is a nice little racer game. I really like the personality on each racer. Nice work!
I loved this, the character designs were amazing. Like one of the other comments, i wish the AI was a bit better to have a bit of challenge with racers, but i also get its a game jam and AI can be difficult hahaha. Overall great game!
I like the artwork for the racers and the soundtrack is great and fun! The driving feels pretty good but some additional mechanics would've been nice. And maybe some rubber banding on the AI

Cool game! Looks really well and the three-sprite turning works amazingly well with the way the controls work! I'm not sure if there was any way to actually finish a race or not, but the base game is awesome and definitely deserves to get upgraded later!

The vibe of childhood, like taking a cartridge with Mario Kart and sitting down on the carpet to play in front of a mega-crazy TV. I like the style and also the combination of 3D with 2D elements, it looks very promising, you can go far with this game. And so thanks for the game!

Wonderful start for a racing game, I love the map and all the character designs, I can see this becoming unique and more replayable with more mechanics added, maybe having the racers have different abilities/stats so I can really FEEL like the Great Fish Cigaretti.
