Nice job! I was confused on how to play at first, but got it on the 2nd attempt. I like the little microbe guy and his animations. The splash screen was also cool but it disappears as soon as the game loads. Seems like just chilling and eating for as long as possible is the strategy. Not sure what benefit the split mechanic has.
@daflamingpotato Thanks! And for splitting: that's fair - we tried to balance it so that you needed to split to have enough energy to make it in time, but it seems like we're going to have make some tweaks.
I made great use of splitting. Got up to 17 idle cells before the end, that's a lot of free movement.
Took a sec to figure out, but it after I did I enjoyed strategizing having multiple split cells eating for me while I would walk a ton of tiles ahead, very clever! -Swan
a very beautiful visual! The game is quite enjoyable! You guys are great
I think I might've had a bug that allowed one of my cells to move in any direction even through the walls. Something that no other cell could do. I beat the game and I liked it. There is a unique idea here that could be turned I think in to fully realised puzzle game! The art style was also super cool.

Nice short puzzle! I like the fact that you have to choose between splitting an moving or staying idle to gain energy. I managed to get it on Day 13, but I bet it's possible to do better.
It's a cool game, but it seems to me that the music should be looped, and it stops quickly
