I love the idea of ants collecting money to summon humans XD. Controls on keyboard and mouse worked great. Loved the nostalgic feeling of the game. I was hoping on a bit more challenge than just collecting coins. It would've been nice to see a puzzle aspect using the coins. Like needing to stack them to access new areas or something. Overall great vibe!
Really Enjoyed the game, was only able to see the first section (the first like two coins) as the bloom was so high in the other areas. But genuinely if I'd made this game, i'd be so proud, deffo this sort of game could go on steam!

Collecting a coin tower was fun but empty, it had zero impact on the gameplay, maybe doing a game mechanic/level design could enhance the game around the fact that you cant really move with a tower over your shoulder exemple: i was able to pass under a bridge with the coins going though it Overall it was ok
Good idea, and funny character💖

Good one here, but a bit short lived. Sound needs a bit of balancing for headphones and Graphis are a bit to shiny. Controlles are working really well, would love to see some more difficult levels. Other than that I have to respect the guts to create a 3D game for a jam.
I'm a bit confused on what the theme has to do with the game but I enjoyed the small gameplay loop. I really like the ant's model as well as the animations it has, really good.
Also the concept reminded me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiLKVdNJt_o

The gameplay mechanics in this game are so intuitive! It's like the controls become an extension of your own instincts. Plus, the art style adds a unique flair that keeps you engaged throughout. Definitely a gem worth exploring!

The visuels and the animations is really good. The gameplay is simple and okay, but could perhaps have used a bit more content. The soundeffects is overall good, and it fits well to the game idea. Overall a pretty good jam game. Well done.
The idea is very creative. It would be great if there was more content, but for a jam, it's excellent. By the way, who lost all those coins in the garden 😂?
I really love the art and animations, like other people were saying it would've been nice for more content, maybe hazards or small puzzles to make getting the coins more difficult, but overall a solid submission - I especially liked the level design, the sign made a really good landmark to keep me from getting lost, and fit the world perfectly

IDK what happened but I can't play this one ;w; It runs fine, but the environment is all overexposed and white so I can't see anything...

Nice graphics!
Whilst I have not been able to recreate the issue that @fupi and @garyninja have, I believe the issue is caused by godot's bloom and have uploaded a version without it on the [itch page](https://afterdarkgames.itch.io/ant-74-in-sugar-summoning). If you are willing to give it a second try, it would be greatly appreciated.

@peachtreemcgee I've seen something similar to this in other games before, usually the problem is that the bloom shader is dependent on screen size, and the screen of the person playing is smaller than the screen in which the game was tested. For reference, my laptop is 1366x768. You may be able to fix it with Godot's scaling features? Or maybe I'm just completely wrong! Who knows. Thank you for addressing it! I'll be checking it out again later.

Hey, unfortunately the "no bloom" version of the game has the same issues ;w; I can see the bloom is gone, but it's still overexposed... no idea what it could be :(

how strange, very unfortuante that this is happening. I can't seem to find the cause of this problem and your suggestion of it being the resolution aught not to be the cause either (1152x648 in Window settings). Thanks for giving it a second shot though, really appreciate it!
Very brave to go for 3d, good job!

Okay so I don't have any problems with color exposure but the game was a walking simulator before I realized that you can sprint and though hold on a second can't ant hold like 50 times more then they weight, so I tried it and it worked it quickly went from walking simulator to hold on where even am I, Im not sure how the game is connected to the theme but I loved the textures, the choppines of animation gave a quite nice nostalgic atmosphere, overall great job with Godot 3D, keep it up, its incredable that one person managed to do this much in only 3 days
I liked the graphics, the gameplay was kinda dull. Go there, bring that. A missed opportunity was to force the player to use the coins to get to places.

I love the character design, and the whole experience was really polished and super adorable! Wouldn't really say it's a really complex game, it's pretty much a collectathon - but I had a great time stacking up as many coins on my little ant dude with my ~5 minutes with this game. I am honestly surprised how much fun I had with this lol.
Well done!
