Creative and super fun! Loved it.
Creative game! I was thinking about making a rhythm game for LDjam as well! Liked the entry!
Very cool entry, only thing I would have like is if we could have the keys at the bottom of the screen, cause i forgot which key was which event and such. But other then that quite fun!
Incredible mix of concept, yet well done and with a right feel ! I like it !
I like the rythm of the game. The art is also amazing.
It's fun once you get the mechanics. I think that the socer limit is too much but the game is cool
It took me a while to understand what each action did, but it's not clear to me if there's something other than score that changes and whether there's an actual end. I got to 101 points and the game got stuck moving back and forth. The music is very cool and the art is nice.
Unique - loved the combination of elements here. I also forgot which key was which so I ended up strumming all of them every beat, which kind of worked.
I think one of the most important aspects of rhythm game is the flow—how well the chart works to keep you immersed in the gameplay, but unfortunately I think the more random aspect of the "note" placement gets in the way a little too much here. I went into this trying to play along with the song and was quite confused when I could only play to the beat itself. I also found it difficult to remember which button I needed to press to hit which set piece. I eventually got the hang of it, but it still felt clunky.
What I did really like, however, was that this didn't feel quite like a typical push-a-button rhythm game, but almost more like a little dungeon crawler, and it's difficult to feel unique in this genre—you pulled it off nicely!
Thank you all for the comments ! It's really nice and encouraging ! It's true that the game would be better with a small reminder of the inputs on the screen, we intended on adding a small rhythm bar for this and were short on time (which is also the reason why the game ends in a weird fashion and the level design feels too random)
Agree with @iqoribou that it would help having the controls during play but otherwise it was a great game!
