This looks cool! Any chance of a Table Top Simulator mod or something for those of us without color (or any) printers? =)
damn, it looks fun but i can't play (don't have a printer)

I made a quick web version of the game to play for those of us with limited access to a printer (with permission from marcmagus). It doesn't track score, valid placement, or anything like that. It's just placing, flipping, and rotating the pieces on the board. You'll still have to read and follow the rules.

I would still recommend printing it out on card stock for those who can since it can be more enjoyable as a physical game, especially for multiplayer.
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my stream! If you’d like to rewatch the playthrough, you can find it here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1814621596?t=3h13m15s Good luck on your ratings, see you next LD! :D 💜 Elysia Griffin AKA Button Feedback Lady https://www.twitch.tv/elysiagriffin
Clever. I like boardgames. Yours has some solid rules and a pleasant gameplay. Well done ++
Played the solo rules. Nice puzzle to claim my symbol while spreading between the others as much as possible. I did print out the pieces but ended up playing the web versions(thankyou @thebooksnail ) as I still haven't finished cutting out the pieces.
Thanks booksnail for making digital version of marcs very clever and intriguing game! I enjoyed playing the "fast solo" version of this, it raised many tactical decisions during the play. It also helped me appreciate how that fancy shape fits together in the way it does! Could be a solid game idea to pursue, especially if the theory around this shape is a new thing? or was it just you only learned about it lately? Great job regardless!
Solo 21 piece quick play score: 18 (next highest shape score 9, for a diff score of 9)
In my play, I rarely did knots and the ones I did do were simple small circles. Counting up the points was surprisingly difficult due to losing track of what I counted.
For solo play it would be nice if there was a score range in the rules to compare of how well you did. Example: diff score of 1-10 novice, 11-15 advanced, 16-20 expert, 20+ master (just guessing at numbers)
I had to read the rules a couple of times to get it (which is normal for board games with me), I want to say the scoring example was well done and very helpful.
Alternative gameplay idea, place all tiles without gaps. Why is this so hard?! Interesting to see how few flipped pieces used to get it to work, trying to add more always resulted in gaps.

Such a great idea! I've been wanting to see a game with these tiles ever since they landed. Nice job!
I played a game of this multiplayer (digital version), but it seemed, at least with us, to be relatively degenerate - besides the very first move, each of us scored a net of exactly 1 point on each move (it was very clear what color each of us were after 2 moves, if not one, maybe some bluffing would have helped ^_^). No relevant knots were formed because it was basically always trivial to block one if it would be disadvantageous (by lining up only one of the two edges at worst).
Really cool to play with this tile though, made for very interesting spatial stuff when trying to figure out where a good placement would be =).
