This is fun! Good use of the art (ghosts in particular) and audio, with responsive feeling controls. My only issue is that it's so hard - I can't beat the ghosts! But it's got the bones (no pun intended) of a good arcade game for sure. Well done!

I appreciate the arcadey-nature of this game and can see it becoming addicting for players. The movement feels nice and smooth. Super nice game for your first jam, and for a solo jam!
That was a lot of fun. I was actually able to beat ghosts on a second try because I noticed that you are able to steal the coin from them even after they grab it, so I was stealing it out of their hands. :) Great music choice, assets look good and controls are nice. And 20 seconds of gametime is perfect for jam game. Great job!

Not sure if this is in the spirit of the jam but I have fixed the bug that people have pointed out exists where you can continue playing after the game over screen because it means people could cheat their scores!
So far the highest score I've seen a player get is 53 would love to know how high people can go!
Fun game! Took me like 5 tries to finally beat those dudes! I love arcade-y minimalist games so this was up my alley. Maybe in an expanded version you could have procedurally generated levels or something. Maybe slow down the ghosts and let the player steal the coins back off of them or something? Great work, I had fun!

Very fun entry! Pretty simple gameplay but because you compete against the ghosts it is a very cool (and challenging) game challenge
