Btw. the Spear didn't work for me. It didn't hit the target.
Fun game but to hard for me
Feels great to play and has a nice style, but for my slow brain there's too much going on to be able to succeed ;)
Would you like to see this game be developed more in the future (more polished and content rich)?

good game, Great graphics. could have used a few user friendly features like a retry button on the game over screen, and auto collecting all the item's at the end of each lvl since it's pretty hard to pick them up while fighting. but I understand those things being out of scope given the time constraints

Lovely art and style! I found it difficult to both move (WASD) and pick up items 1-3 whilst also dodging and attacking. I think that with a bit of a slower ramp up in terms of the number of things to consider on the screen at once would have help ease me into it. I also missed the fact that i could combine items until I read one of the above comments about it. Movement and flow feels very smooth and polished. Great job over all!
Hey, thank you for the game! I really loved the pixel art! The character and the enemies had a lot of charm!
The crafting mechanic was fun! I was really curious to see how each weapon worked.
A few rough edges -- I found it super difficult to pick up items -- maybe give it some sort of visual effect when you are in the range of an item? Also, The hitbox of the spear was kinda wonky, I couldn't hit anything with it :-(
I made it to the 3rd level! :-D The difficulty was just right!
(Ah, a button to reset the game when you lose would have been nice!)
It's a nice game, but there are some drawbacks - you need to click, and again, and again, and again ... - it's difficult to pick objects with proposed keybinding :(
That aside, nice job, music is very cool, concept is simple and understandable, perfect !

The graphics and animations are really good. I wish there were different controls for picking up items, going to the number keys to do it messed up my flow more than once.
I definitely couldn't get the items picked up and then died because my weapon was too weak (and honestly when I would run over to get the items, because there's no moment of invincibility after getting hit, I would sometimes die merely from running through the center (let alone trying to press additional buttons to grab stuff).
But with that said, the game is cute and it's a good concept! I'm REALLY interested in seeing what else comes of this game in the future if you (hopefully!) continue working on it, as it seems like something I'd really get into. And with this being a compo game you did an awesome job with it!
