I really liked the art style and audio a lot. The grid based movement feels a bit too limiting in my opinion, especially after you harvest a mushroom. The level feels a bit too big, as well. Original idea though, good job!

The spooky horror vibe is very well done. The music is super good. Game felt a tad tough, but that does help with the "oh god im going to die" feeling, overall really cool game!

I think it's a bit too zoomed in, and you move a bit too slow. I know that's all to build suspense and make the horror game a bit spookier, but it's not fun to just wander around aimlessly looking for something, especially while also running away. It just builds frustration to longer you spend looking for it without finding anything.

I like the character design, and the monster looks really cool too! nice work.

really cute art style! I think after the first mushroom harvest you're a bit too encumbered, especially when trying to escape from the snail. I also think some elements like a body part throwing cooldown timer would work too. I was a little confused at the health gauge- do you replenish health after harvesting mushrooms? Does the character regenerate? I wasn't sure why the heart was completely filled while I was distracting the snail. Other than that, I was getting pretty into it, the snail had a pretty terrifying design and the music also sells the oh god oh god feeling. A solid entry!

I'm so bad with games like this. Even though the art is cute I was so surprised when I saw the monster for the first time and I got literally scared. That design is terrifying and I will never look at the snails the same way after playing this game. Artwork is fantastic, so is the music and the mood. I'm not a huge fan of grid based movement but hey that's just my preference. I manage to build two levels of the ladder but sadly beast got me. Also I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but throwing my parts seems to be doing nothing and snail never cared about them. Needs a bit polishing but it is a cool entry nonetheless! Good job!

Nice polish! You definitely spent a lot of time on the systems and mood design, and the artwork is really interesting. Seriously, who am I? _What_ am I? haha. The monster design was sick, too!

I think this would have benefited from watching fresh people playtest. Even though you told me what the objective was (find mushrooms and build a ladder at the exit), I was confused that I seemed to be surrounded by mushrooms, yet didn't know how to pick them up. I knew I was missing something, and that was a little frustrating. Once I finally found the exit and then _the_ mushroom, it all kind of clicked.

The procedural levels are really cool, and that makes each playthrough feel fresh. I would have at least started the player by the exit, as letting the first-time player know where there objective is feels like it would add a lot of clarity at the cost of a little challenge. I'm not sure how you would solve the mushroom problem. If the little mushrooms dotting the cave are important to you, maybe add a dialogue box the first time the player approaches one? "Not these! I need much bigger mushrooms to get out of here."

I literally jumped when I saw the monster the first time because it caught me off guard lol! Only issue was I could not find where the exit was so like the above suggestion maybe spawn the player there or maybe even add an arrow pointing towards it once you harvest a mushroom! Otherwise, great game! I loved the character designs and the border really gave it a claustrophobic feel!

did not find the exit... and the movement after collecting the mushroom felt like the frame rate dropped :P But Good Job anyways :)
