Modelling work is quite impressive for this short amount of time! Well done :)
This was a lot of fun! Great use of the idea, and I can't believe how much you got done in a weekend! Nice work!
Since not many people have VR I figured I should help with rating this. Cool game! It's interesting how the flash stays in my eyes for a moment, and I get the illusion that I'm still able to see what's in front of me. The fact that your pictures leave a trail which you can use to guide your way is a clever addition. I did have a few problems with the game though. I wish grabbing stuff was a toggle rather than a hold. On my VIVE that button isn't the most comfortable to hold for a long time. I also had some trouble with pushing stuff open, and at the end I wasn't sure what to do with the fuse. Because of that I was never able to beat the game. Really clever mechanic though!
Wow! Its rare to see a VR game on LD. Really cool!
Very innovative that's for sure! 10 seconds is a bit long between every flash (but eh, that's the theme!), and I would've liked a bit of vibration when I'm successfully grabbing an object/door handle. Other than that, who keeps a fuse in their bathroom and bedroom? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Congrats on this very good entry! (and on the dedication of doing every LD with a VR game!)
Wow never seen VR in a game jam, thanks for the effort.
I finished it! It was a very interesting concept -- the discovery that the hands sort of "glow" and therefore kind of work as an analog to being able to "feel" my way around by walking around with my hands out in front of me was really cool. I found pointing the camera in the correct direction really unintuitive -- eventually figured it out, but it was obviously hard to see the model of the camera most of the time so I struggled. I really liked how the trail of polaroids on the ground made "backtracking" easier.
My first reaction when I found a second key was "oh god, what am I going to need all these keys for?!" I had trouble juggling the fuses and the keys in my storage until I finally found my way to the fusebox and realized I only needed one key.
I'm not a very good photographer in significantly less challenging environments, but I saved some photos because that's fun!

and one makes for a fun bug report: -8585357381757994759.png
Wow! that was interesting :-) I couldn't finish because my controllers ran out of power, but I already found the fusebox... I will try it again when they are full!
I think I like about everything in this game: the idea, the house, the sound and of course that it is VR :-)
Cool game. The game looks good and plays well. Nice work.
