The game looks nice and promising but I couldn't really figure out what I am supposed to do and what do the buttons do (they didn't seem to do anything...).
An interesting concept and jarring experience for sure. I like the adaptive music, it was an incredibly nice touch. The text constantly overlapping made me a bit sad because I was interested with what was going on in the world and I could rarely read any of it. I also wished doing actions in the game had more feedback to know I did something. Overall an excellent exercise in futility and on point with the theme.
Hi! Love the game! Musics and graphism are top! Gameplay is.. a bit complex..
No idea what was happening half the time, looked good. Honestly as far as i could tell my people did better once i stopped touching buttons.
The art and music look REALLY great- some of the best I've seen in the entire jam so far. Unfortunately I have no idea what to do. Some explanation would be greatly appreciated :D
Great music and visual! Like the other commenters, I couldn't really figure out what any of the buttons do, or if they have any effect on the game at all. I tried a few games of carefully hitting buttons and trying to discern their effects, but I couldn't tell what any of them did. In my current and final play-through I decided not to build anything, and after many cycles civilization is booming and in a state of perpetual nuclear war. At the beginning of each cycle there is a population boom that immediately gets annihilated down to 1 in each category when the bomb goes off. Civilization is stable with numbers in the >500 range. Interesting, confusing, yet somehow enjoyable experience.
I really like how the color palette swaps, the overall visual is great, but I have no idea what's happening XD. The game seems to run itself just fine, and it seems like I can "do a category" with each of the buttons? (not sure which is related to the buildings) I read the description about the buildings but I don't understand the impact of my choices, so I have been clicking buttons randomly  Really good job on the effort though, the world looks alive and the color is very appealing
