Nice game. Well done
Interesting and creative! The concept here is quite fun and captures the theme's essence too. Your spectrum of upgrade/ability cards were super fun.
Here's some constructive feedback from my playthrough: 1. The game is very lonely with no audio. A simple addition of music and some sounds on purchasing would help build the mood significantly. 2. The number of meteors became overwhelming too quickly. I felt that by the time I had one meteor arriving, there were already 20 more on the way. Maybe this is survivable, but it looked absolutely daunting and made me feel like I wasn't even close to surviving. This steered me away from wanting to play again. 3. The card upgrade system is a really neat mechanic, but I always felt poor. Maybe I was just mismanaging my money, but I found myself often with only ONE choice which makes this less of a game. Having two free fallback options could help here. Imagine "Run a campaign" and "Taxes" were two cards that were always available. This could let the player choose between a fallback option to gain currency vs. purchasing one of the more engaging cards (like buying a missile defense tower). Player agency is critical in a game like this! So just make sure the player gets to make some decisions even if they're broke :)
Restart button didn't work for me after getting the first ending on the itch.io link. Seemed like a fun little game though. Good job.
Die couple of times and finally findout the game rule. The concept is not bad and works well, seems like the action card shows up random? Sometimes it cause me wasteup multi terms and cannot do anything about it. It would be pretty nice if the game can have some sound effects and music. Anyway, good job.
Pretty good game, just a bit hard, but managed to get all 3 endings ^^ Found 2 bugs, the first is on the picture, sometimes you can't buy Research Lab because of not enough resources, although you have more. The second one is that "Ultrasound Caster" said it reduces all meteroit max HP to 50, but it pushed all meteroits back. (But it was a pleasent suprise :D) It behaved like "Quantum: Time Wrap". Maybe the picture was off, or the effect. :) DetectionDay_NotEnoughResource.png
Nice game I wish the infomation can be more clear: What are nearby target exactly When will next missile launcher fire and how much damange etc
Great work!
Great game, loved the concept. I think it still needs more polishing and balancing but there's potential to be a great strategy game :)
As some others have mentioned, the restart button doesn't work
I loved the game and I believe it has a lot of potential to be something bigger, but I missed some things, like greater clarity in the item descriptions, a song or even an asteroid impact effect to create an atmosphere of urgency and I felt that the texts of the proposals were difficult to read because they were too small (at least on my screen).
Really nice mechanics!Addictive game! But maybe it's too diffucult now or it means just the inevitable? the feeling is good but some card like satellite is useless when I get the more astreoids in late stage of game, maybe use the upgrade to make some exponential level-up is resonable.
too difficult but I finished it (on the tenth try). saving the earth from an asteroid actually fits the topic well. Good entry.
Nice concept, this sort of game is very addicting. I hope you balance it a little more, I couldn't win a single time...
