Damage queue was taking too long so I played healer. 10/10, least toxic party I've ever played with.

Caused a wipe twice and no one insulted me, I want a refund on my simulator.

j/k - that was a lot of fun! I didn't end up using the second spell much since it was so slow- only time I ever used it was when I put a shield up and did a risky heal hoping it would hold up my tank long enough. Failed once from that and was a lot more cautious with it. I think the damage around 6+ is just too quick to make good use of the 2nd spell.

Super neat game! Really enjoyed the humor having played plenty of healer classes in MMOs myself, and the gameplay was fluid and well polished. Great job! (written whilst waiting for my DPS queue to pop...)

I wiped 3 times on the boss (or what I assume was the boss) and no one raged. I def would have grinded more on the boss but it felt like the early levels weren't any challenge, and without the dialogue it lost a bit of its charm. That being said, I did really enjoy it, had a fun time figuring out in what order to cast the spells and listening to rodney complain. Is there an end or does it just keep going with harder and harder fights?

Great game, fun to play with a good amount of polish, really impressive. Felt like it really captured the feeling of being a healer in WoW so you hit the mark there for me. The theme was decently applicable but since we all lived it wasn't REALLY inevitable, haha.

Overall the game was easy except for the final boss where I ran out of mana, but still won in the end. I actually let level 2 or 3 play on its own and we won without me doing any healing, so a little balance could improve it. Still good fun though!

I love the humor! I always love to be the healer in any games, and the story reminds me of my time being the healer. the text RPG + real-time skill casting is a very interesting combination. The skills effects are a little hard to remember at first tries. But it doesn't hurt the overall experience much. it's a very successful jam work!

I usually play support in online games and I can confirm that everything portrayed here is true. Great humor. Controls maybe are a bit clunky.

Fun/funny game. Gave me PTSD though.

Very Charming game. I love the dialogue that plays throughout the game including the story. Got called out when I was clicking things in the tutorial and the joke about DPS queues as an FF14 player I cry when queueing. The gameplay was simple and refined and although I didnt make it to the boss room I felt it was a polished game. I wish I had more time before the "raid" started so I could precast spells but in general I really enjoyed my experience

This was great! As someone who doesn't really play MMOs, I was worried that the game would rely on preexisting knowledge of genre tropes, jargon, and typical raid strategy, but the tutorial was an excellent primer on all of that, and I understood what was going on throughout. (The only thing I didn't know was the term "pulling", but it's easy enough to figure out what that means from context.) I did have a lot of trouble with trying to cast something and realizing a half-second too late that I was already in the middle of casting something else, because my eyes were on the health bars, not the text terminal telling me I couldn't cast yet. An additional sound effect could be very helpful there (either a bzzt for "you can't cast that", or a long ascending boooooop to indicate how far along your current spell is).

@birdwards Thanks for playing! I'm glad the MMO jargon wasn't too "in-joke"-y.

You're absolutely right, there should be an "i can't cast that yet" sound effect. Will include in the post-jam build :)

I actually play as healer in MMOs and this sums up the experience very well. Great job, love the graphics, humor, theme and the choices you guys made overall. Feels very complete as a game.

Thanks @catellib

and thinks for being my 20th rating to push me over the edge ;)
