I like dinosaurs. The atmosphere is nice. But i can't see, why this game is 1.5 gig big.

Nice visuals, even the menu looks nice! Lots of details like different animations, birds flying past and trees falling are great. Only the bloom is a bit too much, maybe? The sound effects are awesome though! Would love to roam a larger level and maybe there should be some kind of goal? Anyway, good job!
@mpk90 Thank you! I think that the biggest reason is the HD 2D sprites and animations. I think it might be a couple hundred MBs if the main character were 3D, or if I built in Unreal. There are some ways to optimize in Visionaire, i.e. scale individual images and convert to webp, but I tend to skip those for jam submission. Any other suggestions are welcome! Thanks for playing!

I played your game, because I love dinosaurs. I didn't get disappointed :) Really cool graphics! And I like how the dinosaur roars. At first I didn't get that I was playing the big dinosaurs and thought I had to flee from it. The game is like talking a walk as a huge dinosaur. It would have been nice to have a mission or an end scene. The menu also looks quite polished.

There's definitely something to be said about platforming with a massive, heavy body taking up most of the screen. It's rather unique, and relaxing since I don't have to worry about crossing paths with anything that can hurt me (aside from the horns on that medium size dinosaur). The atmosphere was very much in line with the setting. Really cool use of assets!
@joemid Then I'll have to play again. It felt like walking forever and I wasn't sure if it starts all over again, so I finally decided to quit xD

A beautiful game! Love the little effects, the assets selected are wonderful, and even the main menu is impressive.
Roooaaaaarrrrrr! It was cool to be a dinosaur for a bit! I think some work on balancing the lighting could be super helpful though - it's really late here and it kinda hurt to play. I really liked the intro though, it was the right level of dramatic for a dinosaur game. :D

The sounds are off the charts in this one!
There isn't much to do though but I enjoyed walking around.
i like this game , its probably one of the most sophisticated in the jam, however the size shocked me
