I loved the concept of not having HP, but enemies taking my space! (But I was kinda sad they destroyed my towers, which caused me to loose immediately) The graphics were cute, the audio was calming. Overall really fun game! (I lasted 5 minutes)
This is a cute, fun and relaxing TD game. I really enjoyed playing the game and loved the art style. Well done!

I like a lot the fact that this TD game is not split into separate "waves" where you have to wait a lot of time before something comes. The fact of the nightmare taking up your land instead of losing "lives" is very good! I wish that I wouldn't lose my max upgraded towers immiediatly - the fact that the avaliable space to build was already being taken was already punishing! I wish that the "nightmare" somehow avoided my towers unless impossible or refunded me some currency - being able to fight back would be fun! If you lose some towers, it's pretty much game over as it's very hard to come back.
I like the clean pixelart iso style. With more polish and experimentation this could be a nice fresh spin on the classic TD genre!

I love this one! super relaxing and loved the concept!
You can look at 3 things endlessly: how the fire burns, how the water flows and... ... HOW THE WORLD OF DREAMS IS CAPTURED BY FUCKING TENTACLES!!!!
11/10 tentacles
This is the most unique entry I have reviewed thus far. I enjoyed playing it, good entry.

This was fun! I really liked the health/tentacle mechanic. It would have been nice to get more tower types. Nice work!
Fun game, I had to try a few times to figure out the strategy. Once you know what to do, you can basically stay alive forever, which felt like winning the game as much as it is possible to do. Liked the art style and the direction you chose to go with the theme.
This game is awesome. I like TD games and you executed it brilliantly. The art style is amazing and the fact the escaped monsters remove space on the field is amazing. However I kind of broke the game and had to just let it run for quite some time until I finally lost :D

Very lovely entry, I very much enjoy weird and quirky games like this one, as well as tower defense games, so this was right up my alley. I enjoyed the theming, how the world would be taken up by horror the more creatures got through... the only thing I didn't like was that the trees and such could actually be overridden by towers: I had thought that they were permanent fixtures that deliberately prevented optimal play.
Incredible entry otherwise. I love it.
This is a very good game, I enjoyed playing and will probably keep playing later on... The only thing is that i wish there were more types of towers you could place... But other than that, super good entry!

This game was a blast to play. A bit difficult at first, but I think I got it down. The scaling seems to be super good here. My only complaint is that there aren't a lot of towers, so the formula for success is rather simple. Otherwise, this is a super great game!
Update: Domination Update2: I dont think I can lose anymore LDJ50 game.png

Quite challenging game that kept me coming back to see if I could do better. Nice job! The alternative to health was a very interesting mechanic, although it was frustrating when a single enemy destroyed my highest upgraded tower... perhaps it should fill up unused spaces first? Regardless, great game!

Challenging at first, but as others have said, the towers outscale the enemies. Fun to play!
Liked the concept of the happy dream land overun by nightmares. Art style was cute. Was a bit annoyed when the nightmare parts spawned over my towers replacing them, seemed a bit unfair. Would have liked a couple more options of types of shooty stuff apart from the bears, to give more strategy. And I couldn't see anything to tell me exactly how far from game over i was. Difficulty seems to overwhelm you pretty quick, with the feeling there is not much yu could have done that would help. Music was good and hit the right dreamy atmosphere. Only real gameplay complaint which affects most games this LD is that following the "Delay the Inevitable" theme was there is no way to win or even feel like you have made much progress which sort of kills the fun quite a bit. Not your fault just a problem with the theme for me. Anyway theme frustration aside. Solid effort.

Nice game some suggestions: It would be nice to have a button to change the game speed and to see the range of the towers.
i really enjoyed the game, and it was great how the board started to turn into a monster at the end. great game.
You people did an amazing job at balancing this game. I was first critical of the large cost increases, but, once I found out that there are limits, it felt great. I was never really sure if a wave would make it through and it took some careful planning to get to a point where I felt ahead.
The mechanic, where nightmares that make it through destroy tiles, is cool. It does however make the game harder and harder as you struggle more and more, which is unforgiving and makes the early game depend on some good rng. (I haven't yet managed to reach the lategame without some nightmares going through. Every attempt I had to hope for none of my towers to get destroyed.)
Some way to upgrade corrupted tiles back into their regular ones could be interesting. Maybe even allow people to invest a small amount to restore towers that were corrupted.
Some more data on the towers would also be greatly appreciated. It would make the crucial early game decision making a bit easier. It took me a ton of tries to even get to a point where I felt like I knew what I was doing.
I really like everything that I haven't criticised. The fun art, chill music, theme interpretation and their fantastic combination all set a perfect mood and make this game overall feel very consistent.
I'm stunned by the sfx. I imagined them to layer into hell, but somehow you managed to make them sound nice for any stack size. Please explain how that magic works!

@reispfannenfresser thank you for your detailed review! We didn't do anything special on the sound on Unity's side except using an AudioMixer. @makse spent a lot of time on making the sounds so they add up nicely, it is also magic to me.
This is a cute and fun game. I really liked art style.
