Cute take on the theme! Leaving everything for last possible moment is a bane of game jams, but I'm glad you pushed through and erven made it out with a build.

Feedback: Unfortunatelly the wonky controlls are making it hard to play for long :) Especially the levitating jump and the turns. It could also use an indicator of how close behind you the skull is, and maybe a slower pace at the start that picks up the longer you go on.

Sorry, but the game has some issues: the controls aren't good: I have to deal with the command delay, calculating it before the action. The fact that the character teleports without animation in the other lanes is unsettling. The theme is well implemented

Got some serious air time jumping over light posts. With some work on controls though it could be great

I was playing the game without a good GPU, and my framerate was really struggling. This made it hard to avoid the groups of obstacles that depended on precise timing. I'd recommend smoothing the difficulty curve so that the game starts easy and gets harder over time.

Definitely think the game would have benefited from either leaning into the weird physics system or taking it out entirely. Temple Run works because it's incredibly on-rails; every obstacle is clearly telegraphed as being in a specific lane, and your only movement options are restricted to those lanes. This one has obstacles strewn all over your path and a jump that can send you flying 50 feet in the air if you hit them at a weird angle.

To an extent, this kind of weird jump was enjoyable and actually made the project its own thing. I'd love an endless runner where you can use the environment to throw yourself around like crazy and get speed boosts from it. The problem is it clearly wasn't intentional here. It leads to bugs and positioning problems, which makes the game a struggle to make progress in. If you worked on it more and leaned into this weirdness with the level design, though, perhaps even taking the character off rails, I think this could be really fun.

control feels weird......emmmm

The controls were a little hard to manage but I like the idea behind the game. Nice work!

Great idear but the controls are very weird.

Best time was 2:38. The turns confused me at first, but after a bit I got the hang of it. I'd say that from a gameplay perspective it would be nice to know how close Death is to catching you, but that might go against the whole "death" theme.

I'll rate! :) I love the music! my best time was 1:14 after a few tries, I had a whole stretch of street without any obstacles at one point \o/ great submission. Good luck getting more ratings you deserve them!

This is a decent entry, overall. The graphics are decent, and the music contributes to a panicked mood. The controls feel a little weird, mainly due to how the character instantly snaps to the different tracks. I also feel like there should be a bit more variety in the kinds of objects to avoid and their layout on the tracks, as it felt quite repetitive. Despite those issues, I had fun. Nice work.
