Oh making a roguelike is quite hard, so congrats on sticking with it! The game idea is pretty cool and it could get quite amazing with a little bit more time to work on it. You still did great, keep up the nice work!

@raivk thanks! glad to hear that someone enjoyed this idea
First i like the introduction and the background story that talk to me ;) The choice of color, the design of the interface, the strange dimension that remind me personna, i d'on't know clearly why (maybe the music too and you avatar). I made a time to understand how that work, The combat system is original but strange, especially with a time limit (i think you have try to add more different thing in your prototype). But in the ennemy room, i just spam left and that works. I think the combat system was better for turn based, not real time with time limit. I used many 'lives' (or try?), with out upgrade because i don't see that : fuuschia0.png Maybe change the color and made it more bigger so i have made some try only with 30 sec, and that made me crazy "i have time to nothing XD", finally searching in the room i find the shop/upgrade item, and that change all, but i have no other tentative. The game tell me game over. The concept is good, and work, the different rooms with event, a strange dimension to explore that make me curious and i like that. The key is expensive, but i was not very good in my little session. If you made an update or change things don't hesitate to tell me and i can maybe test again, i'm so curious about the future of your game. Good job for a compo game too, a lot of work into.
@robowarrior1982 thank you so much for a big review!!
yeah, the main problem is that i planned too much different room types, but due to time limit, i could only made 6 of them, so the game is a little bit repetative after some tries the key is expensive so you won't get it in your first tries, and you have two options: 1. a lot of farming inside chamber 2. upgrading your weapon/time so you could get money much easier and get key only after that
yeah, perhaps i should make it bigger, but i was thinking that the player will spend some time searching the room anyways
once again, thank you for playing and reveiwing!!
Interesting idea but definately could have used more time on the execution. At first it glitched out or I accidentally pressed continue. I always had only a couple of seconds and was wondering what is happening but then started the game again. Most rooms by far seem to be free money or guess the cube which lacks feedback of what the outcome is. Fighting enemies felt also kinda flat missing feedback. But its a really interesting concept but might just needed more time to get to something fun involving some combat system and finding useful items and rooms that are not that basic with some variation.
@davision thanks for review!! yeah, completely agree, i planned too much and didn't make enough variations due to time limit. but i hope that was a good first attempt
It's hard to read information sometime. So what about this game, after three run I was able to imagine that the win condition is to get 1500 and get the key from the gasha machine? Try to figure out wy sometime red strange machine give me time and some other nothing. Maybe a good start for a rogue ligue base on time you can spread in dungeon :). Nice work for a weekend, keep coding !
It was pretty interesting idea to make roguelike game, but in terms of implementation it feels pretty weird. First thing: the game doesn't feels at all. It doesn't give any impact on your actions. You could give more attention to some details to achieve more enjoyable player experience. Second thing: UI made with that way that you can not always see 3D hints. I liked music and random level generation though. Also i liked visuals. But i didn't quite understand how everything works and what to do.
For me this entry is more like prototype than actual game. Overall it's not really bad entry, it could be better though.
