Funny entry with an interesting gameplay twist! Well done
New concept. Good job.
Great concept. Was a little difficult for me at first, but overall great game.
Interesting game, but for me it was very difficult. I think it could be even better if you balanced it a bit more.
I really love the idea of the game, but it was a little too hard for me. Also the bullets the player shoots can't be that well visible all the time.
Good job!
Very fun game that is pretty unforgiving as you move to the next levels. I found a lot of challenge in avoiding the juices as they're spilling and the bullets are too small and light to notice. There's really no control over avoiding other objects in the way of the fruit you need to get into the cauldron but it wasn't too much of a hindrance. I do love the various levels in the game and an endless mode option--it really is a game that you can play nonstop for a high score :p
Good work making a game around this jam's theme!
Great job for a solo entry! Super impressive to have music, sfx, good visuals, and a polished game all on your own, especially for your first jam too boot! Other than some knitpicks, like the bubbles coming out of the cauldron sometimes blending too much with the color of the sky, and the lack of sfx for shooting, it's solid!
It was satisfying wracking up a score with high combos, and the bitter rain was suitably "unstable".
Though the game did require a bit of patience, waiting for the right fruit to pass by, patience isn't my forte. I'm not sure how you'd tweak this though... maybe incentivising the right fruit instead of demanding the right fruit.
Nice, unique gameplay here. A bit on the tough side (especially with how cheerful all the graphics and sound were), but not frustratingly so. Except for when the wanted fruit would change at a bad time. Otherwise, this felt like a interesting game that worked well.
