Averagly fit into the theme.. Game is fun, but not as good as I hope so. Original game mechanics, I like your inovations. Art is not good, try harder next time.
I like the graphics and the story with the sugar problem. I think some variation of placeing the objects would have been nice.
I love the setup with a radioactive sugar cube . I like the art on the lollipop trees - the rest of the environment could use the same nice detailing.
Changing of body parts is a very nice mechanics - scary to slooowly turn into the gummy bear. Gameplay is fun at the start, and I enjoyed the jumping (the sfx really made it pop)! But it "gets old". Once you figure out "the system", you can just take a few steps back, jump, repeat. And as the difficulty doesn't seem to ramp up, it gets boring after a while. Changing difficulty or environment as the game progresses would help to keep player interest. Maybe start slower, with more space between the sweets, then ramp up. Or just modify the environment - decorations, colors, maybe lights.
It's also totally possible to just walk off/jump off the edge of the world and be stuck under the rainbow road. 100% reproducible . You can move around in there, but can't jump anymore and can't get back up.

This was a simple and fun little endless runner. The graphics and music is pretty good. It perhaps felt a bit slow, and I would have liked bit more to do. Overall is this a pretty good jam game. Well done.
Cuty art
I liked the premise of turning into a gummy bear! Watching my limbs turn into candy one by one was funny and satisfying, but it was also a very clear indicator of how well/bad I was doing in the game. Great job there! I wish that the hit boxes on the candy were smaller. Permitting a little bit of overlap between theh player and the candy sprites would have felt like a more fair experience I think.
Great work!
Ótimo jogo. Gostei muito
For some reason when I was playing and pressed in the middle of the screen I got returned to main menu as if a hidden button was there. Otherwise I really like the concept of you slowly turning into a gummy bear :)
I liked the art! I think a couple things made it unintentionally frustrating to play. A lot of the obstacles are close together and so it feels like an inevitability that you're going to run into something. I would try either spacing out the obstacles, or keep the character from auto advancing and simply use a single button to jump. The other thing that makes it difficult to judge how far you're jumping or how close you are to an obstacle is the animation of the character. He abruptly jumps forward during one of his frames, and that can cause you to run into an obstacle against your will. Overall, a good first game jam!
Pretty good for a first game! The (very) saturated colors are justified by the candy environment, although the connection to the theme is very loose. Nice idea to slowly become a gummy bear, maybe try to add a way to reverse the transformation and maybe slow you down or make you sticky when you are "gummy"?
