Congrats!

Really great job for a first Core game, everything works and controls well, and managed to open the portal back to Core World. Hoped I could explore the houses in more detail!

Portal vibes!

The game looks amazing and conveys a lot of tranquility. Very good job: 3

Nice to see you also made game with portals :) ...that magenta ring in the thumbnail looked familiar as we had been working with quite similar rings in our game 😄

I'm not familiar with Core, but I'll give your game a try later when I have downloaded the Core.

There's sadly not all that much to do, or rather, what is to do doesn't feel too rewarding, it feels more like grinding out the next step to the Mage Tower. I imagine this game however to feel really nice with 7 or so other people all collectively working on stabilizing the portal!

Talking about other entities: The village felt spookily empty. One or two NPCs giving out some crude directions or just walking around would've done wonders, but I assume that's one restriction of Core.

Still, I do have to thank you guys for testing the waters. I think I have a better understanding of what Core is now!

Not a bad job I'd never played a core game in my life, and this was a cool experience, good job!

Good one

@trexxak Thanks for the constructive feedback. The game is multi player, so you could have up to 7 other people in there, if you could find them. We totally understand that what is there is just grinding out the next thing. It took us long enough just to figure out how to do things that we didn't have time to implement much in the line of actual gameplay.

As far as NPC's yeah, we would like to have them. It's something that is totally possible in core I think, but that is a whole nother system to add in. I think with 1 more day we could have had some rudimentary NPC's. But for now we just assume the "evil wizard" removed all the people at the same time he removed all the buildings LoL.

Really nice mood and level art! I maybe had a bug because the portal to CORE WORLD was already available after taking the first portal :(

Congrats on taking the challenge of making a game on Core! We had a lot of fun on our side, we hope you had as well!

archimagus 2021-10-09 01:13

@ekilibr The game is multiplayer. I wonder if it dumped you into a game with someone else that already nearly completed the portal? I don't fully know how Core works as far as putting multiple people into the same game.

ekilibr 2021-10-09 07:16

Oooooh right! I think if an instance isn't closed I could land in a finished game. What you could do is either lock the game to 1 player by modifying propeeties, or turn the portal activation code to client and not networked :)

Great game. I like the graphics and the game idea. it was fun to play

Well done on your first Core game! Interesting basis for a game (dare it say, the "core" of a game :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: ).

forik 2021-10-13 22:18

I dont have Core now and cant test your game, but i like that you do it =) Good job!
