I liked the levels and lighting a lot. I think adding a crosshair would benefit the game greatly as it was very difficult to pick up and interact with items. I dropped one of the main pieces needed and could not find a way to pick it back up and had to restart. Other than that good game.

I got stuck trying to place the second rune/coin/key thing. The game looks good and the sounds were very atmospheric.

I was too scared to play all the way through... Well done on the sounds design and lighting.

Very spooky game/10
Honestly was on the edge of my seat waiting for an anemsia monster to pop out and start chasing me but (As far as I played) that didn't happen. I only managed to get to the second level, couldn't find the key to unlock the chest however me giving up so quickly was because of my unease and not wanting to get spooked more.
From a atmosphere persepctive, this game is a fantastic intpretation of the theme, however gameplay was lacking in what I played, since it could be boiled down to looking around and picking things up. Some new gameplay elements might help with that if you consider developing this further.

Really nice interpretation of the theme. Felt quite a bit of tension throughout. The lighting and environment was well designed.
I wasn't sure if there was something you could do with the book and the shield. Overall well done.
I got really excited you made a whole horror, cool buddy, though I did not immediately figure out the controls
Nice atmosphere!

The mood/atmosphere was really great - the audio and visuals worked well together :D
It was creepy at first but when I realized there was nothing behind the creaking and footsteps it got much chiller hahaha
Great stuff overall!! Nice vibes and very polished for a gamejam game :)
Loved seeing your portrait at the end as a reward @varanttitizian <3
@sirred Great feedback! We've heard lots about how a crosshair would have really helped! And we totally agree! Thanks for playing!
@str8griz Thanks for playing! Although you weren't able to finish, we're pretty happy that the atmosphere had that strong of an effect!
@nate-wec Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, youre totally right. We totally wanted more mechanics, such as pushing of objects to open hidden areas, but unfortunately we ran out of time and had to make some cuts! So we tried to make the mechanics we had a little more challenging with lighting and level layout! Thanks playing! Glad you enjoyed what you played!
the aim was not centered for me if I wanted to pick up something I needed to aim to the left of the object and having more objects in the are made it harder to pick up
@jokerfoxtrot thanks for the feedback, did you play on webgl? or download? There were some issues with the webgl and screen maximizing! Tha KS for playing!

Wow! Love the atmosphere! webgl didn't work very well but the downloaded version was great. Only problem was when I dropped the chest key it disappeared. Otherwise, loved it.
@jkazuk Thanks so much for playing and leaving feedback! Yeah the webgl version had some issues for sure! we heard similar issues when it came to the key, something to keep an eye out for next jam! But thanks for not giving up and downloading the other version! Champ! Glad you enjoyed!

interesting riddles. But guys, don't make it hard to pick up and focus ... oh how nervous I was! But still very atmospheric!
hahaha thanks @anaferus yeah weve gotten a good amount of feedback when it comes to picking up items/ a crosshair
Very nice! Love the atmosphere. The pickup mechanic glitched out for me in the beginning, but after a few minutes everything worked fine.

Great atmosphere, and good job with the sound design, it made me tense up and it was actually quite scary. Couldn't find the chest key however so I had to quit, would have liked to go further.
@lutraludens Thanks boss, thanks for pushing through! Glad you had fun! @dmdmdmdm Thanks for playing and the feedback! Yeah, we played around with a bit of emissive on the key, but maybe shoudve given something a lil stronger!

Liked the hall of fame. Nice entry!
Not bad. It was a good experience.
Very eerie game! I like the puzzle aspect and the graphics, i found myself sometimes during the gameplay colliding against some invisible walls, it looked like that, but overall.
This is a very cool horror experience, i would say adding more horror elements such as spooky events or something stalking you for example, could make it even more creepy!
Fantastic game
Awesome thanks @ds-nahogara ! With more time we would have tried for something like that! More events and more mechanics would have been sweeet!
Good game. Spooky. I dropped a plate and had to reset to pick it up. I really like the concept and feel. Reminds me of original Bard's Tale or Shadow Gate.
Thanks @cody-creed , We discovered that our pickups had some collision issues and could fall thru the environment at time very late in production! haha like with only a few hours left! We'll definitely be keeping that in mind for next time! Thanks for powering through and for the feedback!

Stuck in the second room Nice graphic and sounds. The dust particle effect and the lighting are spot on to create the right mood
@kromeboy Thanks for the feedback! Sorry you got stuck, youre not alone haha! and thanks for the compliment!

The spooky atmosphere in this game was very well done. The disembodied footsteps were unsettling and the loud crack at the end of the chest-opening audio clip was enough to make me jump (more than once, too).
I found the combination of the narrow field of view, speed of the camera rotation, and limited amount of light left me feeling a little nauseated, but maybe that's just me. It would be nice to have a button to toggle movement speed to something slower and more cautious.
Maybe the lighting could be a gameplay mechanic to add a little bit of time-pressure. Perhaps the player could be holding a fast-burning candle which grows dimmer as it burns out, and new candles could be scattered throughout the levels.
This is pretty nit-picky, but the character controller was very floaty when descending the stairs, and I got distracted from gameplay to test how far I could float.
Seeing the photographs at the ending was actually pretty comforting.
Anyway, good job!

it was creepy, good job!
Wow, really spooky and cool.
Wasn't sure what to expect, so my anticipation was high! Good atmosphere. Had an issue with picking up things after exiting full screen and going back in, but reloading the game fixed it.
Would love to see an extended version with a couple more puzzles and enemies of some kind.
Well done!
