I really like it. It was great in every way: anims, music, gameplay.

@kro Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked it :D
Love the polish and animations
@dante2001 Yeah, I spent a good bunch of hours polishing. Thanks for your comment! :D
This is extremely solid! Very polished graphics and sound, good controls, clear gameplay with a clear goal. Nice gradual difficulty increase as well. And it's procedurally generated? Five stars all around.
That was fun! Took me longer than I'd like to admit to work out that I could only destroy the lighter coloured bricks! Good job!
Brilliant art style and music dude, great little game
That game is really good ! Controls are smooth, the game is ultra polished ! Very good job !
@initialposition I'm glad you liked the game! Yep, the level is all procedurally generated. I'm using very simple perlin noise plus a couple of basic "relaxation" passes to ensure there's a clear path most of the times. It's by far the feature that took me the longest to develop, I'm pretty proud of it, though :D
@haydads Thanks :D I'm afraid the distinction between destroyable and non-destroyable blocks is more my fault rather than yours... Thanks for the feedback!
@alexjdg Thanks a lot! I made all the graphics, but the music is not mine! Credits for the "soundtrack" go to CodeManu, you have a link to his Twitter account on the description :D
@yamzho Thanks! I'm happy you noticed the polish. Thanks for playing :D
You did a very good polish on your game indeed, great work!
@hippolytea thanks! Really appreciate you noticed it :D
The animation was super good--it was so juicy and weighty despite the simplicity of the assets. You really made every aspect of the game pop!
@animatrix1490 Thanks a lot :D Since my art skills tend to zero, I put a lot of effort on juice and game feel. Thanks for noticing!
I love the animations, felt so smooth while playing. Great game!
@krexor Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it :)
i like that its infinite. procedural generation can be very difficult to get right. i did have some trouble in menu where i had to try multiple times to move the selector. very responsive controls in game though. i would like to see some kind of progression though. any kind of upgrades or something like that. great little game though. some controle changes and it would be great on mobile to kill time.
attention to detail here is amazing!
Really nice work! Just two things: The feedback when you hit an enemy needs to be better, I think. Also, I am using a QWERTZ keyboard, so an alternative key assignment for jumping (Y) would be nice.
Fun little game. Would play for more if developed further. It is very rewarding to make those TNT:s explode!
@bigtvz Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to make a bigger version of the game, with a more polished sense of progression... but that will be somewhere in the future xD
@testudor Thanks for the feedback! I really need to fix keyboard support. Also, thanks for pointing up the enemy collisions issue!
@shieldssounds I'm glad you noticed! Thanks :D
@taikinaaa Thanks! TNT was the very last feature to get in the game, I'm happy I got it done in time :) Thanks for the kind words!
My max depth was 451! Nice concept, I like how everything is ROM-themed.
Love the idea of this! Any chance of a mac port? 👀
@necdilzor Damn, that breaks my record D: Thanks for playing!
@evn Thanks a lot! Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to make any Mac or Linux port...
Really creative and polished game. I had a great time testing it!
Simple and enjoyable. I really like the little effect that plays when you get damaged. The gameplay is fast and fun, with the scrolling screen giving you just enough time pressure to create tension. The ability to break some blocks adds a bit of depth, especially since you need to mine the collectible before you can pick it up, which can also cause you to mine the block beneath you if you're not careful. My only real complaint is a lack of mechanics; there's just the one collectable and one enemy type. There's also TNT, but it was pretty easy to just avoid that outright. That said, the game didn't overstay its welcome, so the lack of content isn't really a big problem. Overall, a short and sweet experience. Nice work!
@sevit Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :D
@superpokeunicorn Thanks a lot for your comment! I'm taking notes on the feedback, I'll definitely be applying it to a future extended version of the game. Thanks for playing :D
